Is This The Ultimate Rooftop Tinny Setup?
bro got tl dwim with a baby mini pygmy whale
Apparently if they click that close to you it'll burst your ear drums
Nice one mate
Just found your channel and fantastic video! Where did you get those tinny movers wheels? They are awesome!
It looks so cursed seeing an adult baleen whale that’s no longer than a human
What this song
This looks like minke
Aren’t they extinct now?😢
fun fact: pygmy right whales are cute:)
Ytfb hahaha
Beautiful spot! Visited a few weeks ago, so on the list to stay next time round
I like how he thinks she/he is bigger😂❤
Great work mate! A new tinny loving subscriber here! I'm yet. to land one yet but it's on the list!
Thanks mate so stoked to get one and it makes it that much better to do it out the tinny! 🤞🏽you can get one soon
Were you fishing on the bottom at 550? And snapping the rock off ? Or fishing off the bottom abit also how did you go high pressure washing the toxic slim off
I was mainly braking the rock off but did leave it attached a few times depending on how fast the drift was. Not sure what you mean about pressure cleaning sorry?
Nice sickle pomfret bycatch. We catch brilliant pomfret off Nauru all the time sometimes 3 or 4 at a time if you send down more hooks. Congrats on your swords!
Thanks appreciate it still can’t believe I caught them in my bathtub! The pomfret was delicious, oh really how good is that! Maybe I should send down 3 smaller baits next time
@@ReelSaltyAus we’ve not got our swordy yet, but catch the pommies all the time. You can send down a regular deep drop rig for a few or make a boom triangle rig from wire and run the sword bait off the point and a deep drop rig and weight below it, we’ve caught 4 doing in that way. I’ve even sent bigger baits to keep the pommies off them, but they are little pigs and eat everything. Are you fishing structure or particular depth? Are you marking anything or dropping blind? Have you tried circle hooks instead of j hooks? Keep up the great work!
Roughly how far out were you when you droped and landed the last sword and what depth
Around 550m sounder doesn’t work that deep so don’t have an exact depth
Couple rosies mate not goldband same same but different. Cracker video love ya content mate!
Cheers mate haha yeah I always get confused with them
Sick video. Just subscribed. Good luck with more swordies and everything else. 🎉
Thanks legend! Had a drop since and pulled hooks on a decent one 50m from the tinny. Hopefully get another crack at them again soon
Good to have you back mate love your vids you are one crazy fella going out that far on your own. Are you guys south of Adelaide? How did you go at getting your boat fixed?
Thanks mate haha it had to be done I’ve always wanted to catch a sword so made it happen. We had it welded up ourselves the manufacturer and dealer didn’t want to know about it
Epic mate
Cheers mate so stoked to get into them yeoww
😮
Imagine comparing the size of the Pygmy right whale to the largest of the bunch: The Blue Whale
sperm;hi❤ woah aaa 😱 hahahaha😂
tottaly real cetotherium sighting
What's the price
This model starts around 140k and goes up from there depending on options
How is the black powder coating holding up for you guys? Would you do it again or is it too soon to comment?
We’ve now been on quite a few shitty roads and so far so good, we haven’t noticed any chipping or damage 😃
@@ReelSaltyAus Thanks for that. Trying to make a decision on a new build so your feedback is really appreciated.
Good to see you guys are still around and hope you upload more fishing vids.😊
Thanks yeah we’re still travelling and hope to have a few more up soon😃
Gorgeous with your kids, what a hook up with the squid. Impressed with the scaling bag, never seen that before. New subscriber, humble family, you guys are cool. Happy travels. Cheers Marg & Steve Btw we were on the Ningaloo 1 year ago today, such a magic place.
Thanks guys appreciate it 😃 It’s certainly an amazing place isn’t it, there’s just so much to see and do it doesn’t get much better! Hope you get back there soon
Hi mate great video Where did you get the tow setup for your tinny I got a fold away trailer but that looks like a better idea
Thanks mate appreciate it! We had it made up, works really well and still super happy with it.
Pygmy Right Whales are the Smallest of the Baleen Whales
They sure are 😃
@@ReelSaltyAus Just Imagine comparing the size of this whale with the BIGGEST of the bunch: The Blue Whale
Did the change to victron over the enerdrive system add much to the cost?
Very similar cost if you were comparing the same size Enerdrive system
Actually their s no need to piss the shark off it's not worth the risks it's wonder why they attack human s as you see there it's different story but swimming nar your food 🤨
Lol with the awning. Hopefully Jason doesnt see it when you make a warranty claim when you rip it off the van 😂
Looks like an awesome spot mate, love the tinny setup 👍
Such an amazing place with the right weather, make sure you check it out. Tinny setup is a must 😃
Oh man...see how strong it is...that's why they tear people apart so easy...if you Google shark bites on humans and then choose images...there's alot of shark attacks they dont all make the news..they'll eat the person and leave a spine connected to the butt and thats all...or just the arms ...or just the legs...they dont talk about all of those attacks on the news...there's definitely more than you think...I'll never swim in the ocean again.
Hey mate what is that mount for the simrad called exactly ?
Railblaza mount
It’s honestly interesting how they evolved to be small when other baleen whales are huge
Crazy hey
I reckon they were rosy jobfish not gold bands looked like a sweet fishing spot
Yeah a couple of them may have been, they look very similar, either way they were delicious 🤤
Where did you get the jump pack from
We have a Noco genius and also an itech jump starter, both work well
Hey mate, love your channel and awesome fish. Quick question what brand squid jigs do you use or recommend using also sizes colours etc any help would be much appreciated Thanks.
Cheers legend! I’m a big fan of the yamashita ones they seem to sit well in the water. 2.5 - 3.5 size depending on depth and green, white and pink are my go too. Obviously anything works but when they’re a bit fussy the better quality jigs definitely catch more
@@ReelSaltyAus Thanks mate heaps of help
Hi guys what's the price difference between enterprise and victrin roughly for the same setup you guys have thanks
Not sure on an exact figure sorry but same size system in either would be very similar, within a couple of grand. The Victron gear Is far superior in every way especially the inverter that does up to 5000w for 20-30 mins and the way it does direct use from solar😃
Remember to never wear sunglasses when talking to people or presenting. It makes you look disinterested and detached.
😎
Right Whales are some of the most endangered whales ever!
They are, such an amazing creature hopefully they recover
Very very cool video man What a treat
Thank you, very lucky for the experience 😃
Weights and measures, like to know the draw bar weight, cheers
Loaded ball weight is between 290-340kg Depending on water tanks and fuel levels
@@ReelSaltyAus I thought it would be more, not bad, cheers
Thanks for the great presentation. Did adding the front window make much difference to the price given you removed the hatch over the bed? Cheers.
Thank you 🙏🏽 I can’t remember the exact cost but it was somewhere between $1000-$1500. We love the front window so think it’s well worth it
Thanks!
But it can get you out of stuff. Wife asks can you grab milk “ im fishing” can you grab a bottle of wine “im fishing” see flawless escuse
Bloody love it but this sums up a lot of days on the water 😂
Average person whining that they didn't have fun fishing
who said it wasn't fun😂
I guess that's true lmao
As I'm getting older Im starting to understand it isnt about catching fish, its about the excuse to just not be where you are now.
even catching nothing is enjoyable when your on the water😀
Definition written by someone who got no enjoyment out of the activity
😂 i just call it boating when i catch nothing
