As a baseball player he should not have been thrown out. It looks like the umpires miss understood him and thought he was celebrating. The catcher didn’t do anything wrong. I do the same thing and I’m never been thrown out once or even a warning at all. And this is why parents ruin youth sports. The kid did not deserve it that is just sad to see adults do that and they are the ones telling their kid not to do that. That’s just gross 🤮
As a former umpire I can say I didn’t see the catcher have an unsportsmanlike conduct when he jumped up and skipped toward the dugout. I don’t know if he had been warned about his behavior previously though.
It’s like the time I said good job blue when my pitcher struck somebody out and he ejected me , in the moment I was so confused, but now which is something to laugh at 😂😂😂
Had to rewatch it but the kid pointed and yelled at a parent behind the ump while showing the ump he didnt drop the 3rd strike. It was quick and all in one motion. Kid shouldve have waited to ump wasnt near. Not the best sportsmanship but ref overdid it. Hopefully he got reinstated in the tourney after that.
He looked towards the opposing teams dugout. Probably said something the ump didn’t like. Oh well still a W. Soft a$$ parents need over it and realize how they behave in society rather than cast judgement.
@@gsxroyce256 I’m not an umpire, but I do know that on the third pitch, sometimes the catcher will turn around and show the ball to the umpire if it’s the 3rd strike, because if they drop it the runner can run
@@Dr_suter yeah it looked he just showed the ball. I didn’t know if he was showing it to a fan or something. I wish I knew the reason he tossed him. Bc it appears it was for nothing. But surely he had a reason hell.
You're not allowed to show any happy emotions when your pitcher comes up with a strikeout?? That wasn't even much of a celebration to begin with -- and it's what he's used to seeing catchers do on TV when they've caught the final out of a game! I'm usually a 'be-nice-to-the-umps-their-job-is-thankless' kind of guy, but it's just senseless to eject him at the end like that, forcing him to potentially miss the next game. I'm glad the kid was reinstated for the next game, but I wish the coaches had been as well. I'd have done exactly the same for one of my players in a situation like that!
In the description, if you read it. Stated that the umpire is a good umpire, he had just either misheard or misunderstood what the kid had done. As a referee myself, there is a shortage of referees and umpires alike and it’s because of parents like you who want to throw away all of them
2:11 those kids and adults filming this told the player to get out as well. As if the ejection was a good call that the player did something wrong. I don't know what he possibly did very wrong though
Power mongering umpire should be barred it's a kid happy they won how stupid
I hate the mother immediately switches sides because one second she's cheering and then she starts saying,"grow up"
What a POS that ump is. He should be booted from the league.
What’s the point of
Idk i think this is at big league dreams in Manteca,CA
How do people watch this in 0.25x speed and think he's safe? Ump clearly made the right call.
What was he ejected *from?* Because there was no game at that moment.
Tf he even do he literally jumped up

he isn’t 12 because that looks like a teeners field
it’s terribly small. this field is like 200 feet, while teenagers like me play on 300-350 ft.
My bad the fence just looked far and also I should have looked at the distance between the bases before saying that

Im bad im useless i like ejecting kids i wanna be a ump
Ejected after winning?
These boys are in their 20’s now.
1:03 “I thought that was 2 strikes”😑
Lol... ejected from a game that was over 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How is that even possible
Catcher did nothing wrong

The kid still shouldn’t have deserved it
@cphockey5490 that what happens when u play with fire. He has to control that mouth because he's still on the field of play.
This looks similar to what happened to a certain swimmer
Indeed
It was that one where he won and got into his buddies lane so he was disqualified for interference
2024 anyone?
Ye

Read the description
Seems like that umpire needs an ump
Its incredible how such an old video can get really popular 12 years later. Incredible. 👏
I would’ve done something more to at least warrant the ejection after being thrown out for nothing
He did absolutely nothing, he’s aloud to celebrate. And all those parents saying he deserved it were horrible.
A umpire looking for attention that's all. PATHETIC
What does throwing him out at the end of the game do anyway?
In the description it states that he can’t play any future games of this tournament. But was reinstated
@@Dr_suter thanks. I wonder what he turned around and said. He pointed and said something that got him tossed. It wasn’t celebrating

You can't be thrown out of a game when the game is already over.
All the cartcher did was show that he didn't drop the third strike.
Horrible ump... let the kid show i pinch of emotion jesus...
Some umps became umps because they didn't qualify to become cops but still wanted to bully people.
wow, youre an idiot😂

It’s LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL FOR CHRIST’S SAKE … That home plate ump is PATHETIC … AS ARE THE PARENTS WHO CHEERED
Respect to the lady who said “he’s just a kid”

Is that big league dreams in Manteca?
Catcher was yelling during the pitch?
umpire should be ejected and never call another game. Unbelievable.

I play at this field every damn weekend
Was the kid ejected for supposedly showing up the other team?
Let the kid celebrate! In fact it really wasn't much of a celebration anyway.
I mean a lil ball player should not be pointing to a parent
Umpire is full of it lol
The amp is dumb because how is that Ejected when he celebrates
2:09 was the pitcher called to get out?

2:09 was the pitcher ejected? What for though ?
Was the player ejected when the game had ended/finished? If so, the ejection might have carried over to the next game if this was like a tournament
2:09 lol that guy told him to get out
I like the recommendation on CZcams 12 years later in 2024
