In Kyrgyzstan we watched a group of guys practicing some ancient horse games passed down through the centuries. Each rider owns his own horse and competes in local tournaments, but they also have pick up games to practice their skills. We had ringside seats for a practice session of three games.

Shows village life along the Irrawaddy River, including visits to numerous villages, pagodas, temples and monasteries, When off the boat we traveled by foot, by horse cart and by 'tri-shaw'. On the boat we learned how to apply Thanakha and wear a Longyi.

On my recent Seine River cruise in France I visited the Normandy American Cemetery where over 9,000 soldiers who died in the Normandy invasion at Omaha Beach are buried. Since my visit was less than a week before Veterans' Day, I made a short video of our visit.
