This does not work, 1. what is the devolopment (homemade) board , no schematic of it, unclear how to hook up cable, shows 4 pins but my unit came with 6 pins. Also driver no clear video where too get it, very poor teacher, don't waste your time on half way projects.

Thank you very much for this video. I am very new to Arduino, but have been designing a lot of electronics including microprocessors - but mostly 30 years back. I have looked at Arduino control of a more powerful DC-motor for a sewing machines. It should be able to control a peak power of about 400 W. A module called IBT-2 can do that, but its max frequency is only 25 kHz. So I look for a way to make about 20 kHz PWM-signal to get rid of audio noise from motor. So I guess, that it would be possible with a setting of no prescaling and using the 9 bit option for PWM and set some start and stop counter values, so you get 20 kHz. Do you agree?

Works fine for me with Gemma M0 and 12 LED ring. Exactly what I wanted, thanks. Saves me reinventing the wheel.

Ahoj, tvoje názorné video se mi velmi líbí. Rád bych použil tranzistor jako spínač, ale nevím jak vypočítat velikost odporu báze tranzistoru. Můžeš mi prosím poradit jakým způsobem (vzorec pro výpočet) vypočítat konkrétní potřebnou hodnotu odporu pro bázi tranzistoru? Rád bych pomocí Arduna UNO ovládal tranzistor, který bude spínat výkonové led 12V, 5-10W. Led budou napájeny ze samostatného zdroje 12V.

isn't that just the drop of every individual LED. there is a drop after each diode. or set of diodes

That's exactly how I had imagined it to happen. But it didn't. The solder paste beneath the module wasn't melting. And I applied heat for a long time. Eventually I had to clean it off and solder the module with a solder iron, pin by pin. Now I think my module is fried because it doesn't respond to anything. Also, I noticed that the self-aligning only works for small components up to a transistor or a tiny 6-pin IC but certainly not for larger SOIC or even QFP ICs or modules like this one. They have to be properly aligned when the first joints solidify and the others haven't melted yet.

hi, i have tried to follow this but it isn't working. is it meant to play as soon as you plug the midi in? are you meant to change any code? im using the korg volca keys and i have tried to do this on an arduino leonardo. i also have a nano if that would be better? super urgent! i tried making a sequencer for a university project which is due tomorrow, which i cant get to work. so trying something more simple!

Good page. But I noticed that the frequency of the LED is wrong. If I want to let the LED blink at 60 Hz, only 30 Hz come out. The Arduino jumps into the ISR 60 times a minute. But once the LED is switched on and once the LED is switched off. Switching on and then off again is one impulse. So the frequency is effectively halved. With a 120 Hz timer I get 60 Hz flashing. It would be something different if one timer call: the LED would switch on and off again after an unknown time, but with one call only. Tested with Mega2560 Timer3
