Deuteronomy > Old Testament. Jews were bound to certain things, strict rules that seem awful and ungodly to us, but things changed when Jesus came into the picture (New Testament). A man who's committed murder, adultery, dishonored his parents/marriage etc.. Can be forgiven and is not held responsible for his sins, as long as his heart is changed by the love and hope of the Gospel. Another example is how Jews didn't eat certain foods in the OT, but then Jesus declared all food fine, etc..

@japsocute Okay, cats have feelings, cats can feel pain, and they feel pleasure when rubbed, okay, but if you yell at a cat it runs away, if you yell its name angrily, without being angry, it runs away, if you say it nice, it will come to you, if you call ugly fat and retarded in a nice tone, it wont know what the hell you're saying. Our higher intelligence allows us to come with thoughts like "oh, its cute." Cats can't do that.
