Craftsman Troy Bilt Snowblower Fuel Tank Removal
Hello Sir. I am Andy . I want ask: snow blower my fuel pump is not working can you help me thank you very much!
That was the exact noise my Husqvarna rider was making. It has less than 2 hrs on it and making this noise. I am glad to know that is isn't anything serious and it could be an easy fix. Thank you for this informational video!
Excellent! Our new TS242XD started squealing after the first mow, dealer was no help. Tried talc powder, good for 10 minutes. I managed to do your fix in minutes, with deck on. Thanks.
Good video!
Can you call out the replacement wheel numbers you went with? Thanks
Kinda makes me wonder why people are so in love with Ariens, since this seems like a pretty basic design issue. Are they just the least-bad blowers out there?
Thank you so much!!!!! I had this exact sequel after only 4 hours of use. I couldn't believe it, I bought a top tier mower and just couldn't believe I had that sound. I followed your guide and actually adjusted mine with the deck on and in park. The passenger side (same as yours) was rubbing. Small bend outward and she's great now. Saved me a trip to a shop!!!!!! Many thanks
it still counts as a tool. so yes. its a great tool
Aluminum foil works like a charm and it bends around objects much better
Cardboard works as well. I have used it a few times on my John Deere. Also, if you dont have a filter wrench, a pair of channel locks and punching a hole with screw driver will work as well.
I use an old sheet of lead
What is it you were working on there?
Looks like a quad
wow that actually looks like itd come in handy alot
seems pretty useful
Great job 👍🏼 I have same Husqvarna YKTH46 it’s been Squealing for past 4years will do this to resolve this issue..! Thx ..🙏🏻
If this aint the most accurate shit me and my cousin used to repair mowers and other small engines we quit 3 years back still got people showing up to the shop asking if we still do it lol
Promo*SM 🤭
Why did my phone vibrate also
😂😂 that was way funnier that i expected, you made me chuckle
Harbor freight has the pump on sale $7 should go get it they got about 200 in stock everywhere in store 😂
okay
Thank you! I had a similar issue, but worse, 2 years ago. They covered a new control module under warranty. It started acting up again and I was sure it was the same issue. After watching this, I reseated the plug and it works great!
Do you keep making holes as you go and plugging the others
Great idea, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
This is genius. Those bottles make a complete mess and never fill more than half the bottle
Like the bottle comes with its own nozzle for you to squeeze into wherever you need to get it. 😂😂 what a waste of time.
if you didnt watch the whole video, and you clearly havent ever filled a transmission or gearbox in a tight place. you have no position to comment.
@@SmallEngineWizard well someone else hasn't explained the whole video because the gear box he is filling is a ride on mower that is up on a lift and has plenty of room above the the rollers and frame brace if you cut the bottle tip small enough, oil will not come out of the tip unless squeezed but then again if you are filling a gear box the processes is to fill it until it pour out of the filler whole but they do make bottle that are made for this and Valvoline makes a flex fill bag of gear oil for tight spots
Random rusty frame hole is happy now.
my name is Pete, I do snowblower repair here in So. Lake Tahoe and I'm really glad I came across your video, really helped me out a bunch so thanks again, I saved your "Small Engine Wizard" website for future use, thanks again, Pete
Did the shop vac not suck all the oil out ?
negative. if the level was higher it would. but since theres air between the bottom of the filler tube and the oil. it doesnt suck it out.
So now instead of draining everything thstnjas settled to the bottom of the oil pan, you are dragging all of that debris back over the internals. Not a good thing to do if you want your engine to last a long time.
Oil was just changed then the tube started leaking. if theres that much gunk in there trust me this wouldnt be the determining factor of the engine lasting.
How is holding negative pressure inside the crank case going to cause any more damage than running the engine?
Does that work for the coolant, I need to replace the fan switch at the bottom of the radiator and I just did a coolant flush a few months ago lol
yes
yes
Someone explain to me ...what is he doing howbdoes this work . Take my money
Hydraulic Repair Service. Theodore, AL. So real! Also, " How much does it cost to fix a hydraulic cylinder?" I wonder if they call Walmart and ask if it is OK to come by three times and then ask, "How much do tires cost? ..just a rough estimate."
Bro that's every customer, if they knew they wouldn't bring it in😂
Oh man. He'll get out
Freakin stupid smh
genuinely, if you dont know, bring it in and let them actually inspect it
I hate when people say it’s not working like no shit you wouldn’t be here if it was working
I work on all my mowers. I cannot afford the price of a small engine mechanic lol just got a new flywheel for my kohler 740zt. It drives me insane that the damn adhesive for the magnets usually fail after 5 years
Idk what’s worse, this, or people that claim to have experience with said equipment and then cannot seem to use it properly or even turn it on in some cases lol
If I knew it was gonna cost that much I would’ve bought the green beauty outside
“Yeah it starts but it doesn’t turn on”
😂 this doesn't happen in just small engine repair shops!*
It’s sad ppl can’t fix stuff these days. I had a guy give me a lawn mower last yr. When I asked his what was wrong with it he said idk the wife was mowing and it started making a funny noise so she cut it off and I went a bought a new one. The only thing wrong with it was a blade had came loose and was causing the deck to vibrate. I fixed it and sold it for 500 bucks the next day
Making fun of your income base 😂😂😂 now there common stupidity. My Daddy was a mechanic and when people pulled in and imitated the sound my dad pretty much knew what the issue was. He knew every engine like a old lover. He did not need his customers to diagnose their troubles just tell him what they could. He had elderly that ONLY came to him because he always took excellent care of them. Too many modern day mechanics couldn't fix a flat tire without looking it up on the internet first!
Bro they it’s not working kills me it’s so true😂😂
Some people don't know machines. That's why you're employed.
👍
Meanwhike me doing my own work instead
Okay, clean the carb, it'll fire right up
Thats just city people in any regard ever, useless
I have a '91 John Deere 318 I'd like you to get running again for me if possible...
