2006 Explorer 4x4 transfer case/front driveshaft area noise
Update -- this noise was coming from the rear of the front driveshaft. The bearing balls were shot.
$110 for a junkyard front driveshaft (with new Dorman boot-end)... a couple of hours under the car... and the vehicle drives like new. Amazing what a difference replacing a bad driveshaft makes on multiple systems.

Being able to see the details of how the wings move is captivating! And so beautiful.
Fucking love the music. Most excellent
How much can I pay you to fly out to Houston and fix mines

I have the kind for the old Waltec, faucet and handles are attached. I managed to pull the casing off but can't for the life of me pry those bolts off. Does anyone have any suggestions? Tried WD-40 is there some other chemical? It probably hasn't been opened since the house was built 40 years ago. The left side valve probably needs a washer like this video shows as this side is causing the leak from spout.edit.... 3 hours later i got it done! Thank you so much
What size are the wheel studs your putting in
' this video is a bad blurry and not clear focus... that coool video with a bee fly
Been looking for a clip that shows HOW & WITH WHAT to remove the cross member
Great to attempt to torque the bolts BUT, each extension used alters the actual torque being applied to the actual bolt, there are correcting factors somewhere if you can find the info
Using those ratchet straps are a EXCELLENT idea
Water pump draft shaft seal, where can I buy? Can’t find anything online
What about a 08 Chevy impala ls
Like watching a haynes repair manual! Thank you bro this is the gift that will keep giving forever! Thanks
Glad it helped!
Interesting I haven't seen this before
Hi. Have you done a Oxygen sensor on a 96 ss yet?
What about the air lines from the evap charcoal canister to the air pump?
I gotta say I like the way you work. And the only 1 thing you didn't say one word. You just got it done and the point is. I'm gonna say you didn't say scribed as i did scribed you in an long run 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😅😅😅😅😅
How did that go
Did you have change driveshaft and noise gone ?!
Yes I replaced the front driveshaft and the noise is now gone. It was a bad bearing
Awesome video. Gonna do mine next. Mine is currently leaking and I don’t know where from. Looks like the top?? And idea??
I have a 1993 ford f150 with a 4.9 6 cylinder and it's making a granding noise from the timing gears
Bad driveshaft bearing??
ARe these still going on ? Man, I'd love to come out for one of these
is it critical to mark the balancer if there is no timing indicator when replacing it?
Great video
You did need to use a PAC radio pro when installing the radio into that grand am ?

Try using a dead blow next time
You work on lt1’s ? Im local
I know most of the comments asking are old. But when you're trying to find these seals at the parts store ask for a timing cover gasket set. If you're like me you'll aquire a few extra timing cover gaskets that won't be used though 😅
Lookn good, 👌😁👍
That was nice with pvc plug… good thinking
this is magical
Worst video ever
how dare people say there is no omnipotent being that created those things??
Thank you for the video , I replaced both the Blower Motor and resister from watching this video
Amazing
half way thru mine, same truck,, but the guide dowel remained on the bell housing when i pulled the tranny,... now having a hell of a time getting the thing back in, you think i should drop it again and knock out the pin and try to insert it back into the engine side?,, it also holds the dust plate in place so now that shifted also making it a bit hard to line up..
awesome.thank you.
Thanks!
That was so amazing👍
Are u mark the balancer
Thanks for the video bro
Love it
amazing!!!
luv your videos. have you done your oxygen sensors yet? been trying to find videos on this repair, no luck at all.
Hi bro I am from Nigeria , I need your help on this gear box
i noticed on this flywheel its different than mine that came out of the 99 f150 4.2 because there are 3 almost half inch bump coming off the flywheel in a triangle pattern equally spaced apart along the holes on the parameter of the flywheel, where they help know you are attached to the clutch. I am curious why not just pay another $60 and get a new flywheel at autozone? Is it really worth it having a machine shop take some down? The reason I say is that I had 2 of those "ears" break off when I was prying off the clutch from the flywheel after I had taken out the clutch bolts. I think the metal is like 25 years old, and I guess the flywheel is a high wear item, and Ford doesn't always make the greatest metal in the world if you know what I mean. Its not Japanese. Anyways. It was fine but I just wanted to pick your brain is all. Thanks.
Talk about an all day job. Wish i found this video when i did mine. Now i have to go back in because of a slow leak.
