I literally bought an Intel Arc 770 this week and I am struggling with software support, especially AI LLM support. I can return my GPU and get an NVIDIA that will run out of the box. This software should be released immediately, and drives contributed in open source. I love the HW specs but software is a disaster.

As a Linux user running Arc A750 smoothly on my main workstation, with zero driver issues, ever... this is the app/workload I'd love to use 50 times a day. Scratch that... this is the app I'd like to keep always open as my helpful wingman. Please release a Linux frontend.

LUNAR LAKE MUST HAVE OVERCLOCKABLE. What I really love about unlocked Intel CPUs is that they give me the freedom to customize them to my liking even it don't give me any or few % gain perf. I don't like things that are limited or blocked. Easy to customize by using Intel cpu X or K, overclockable etc. ALL IGPUs MUST BE OVERclockedable. There is no danger whatsoever in limiting the voltage on locked CPUs to 1.36v, and with the built-in thermal throttling feature the CPU will always be safe. It also will turn off completely if the temperature is >~100°. Overclocking is completely safe anyway nowaday

Question if an app is using 8 threads will 4 run on ECore and 4 on PCore? the question is will they run simultaneously, and what is the penalty for memory synchronization (if the memory l3 is segregated won't the synchronization have to happen in RAM making it slower?)? From what I hear the idea seems like to switch the processing over to P core when more performance needed, so wanted a clarification on what happens when 8 threads are active. Is the OS going to see 8 CPU cores or 4? I like the idea that all cores are on the same chiplet and on the leading node. But I just donot understand removing l3 cache from ECores, Or having l4 cache to synch between PCore and ECore. This will be very efficient for some tasks that are single threaded but for multithreaded working on the same data I see a problem. But then again such a workload is more server centric or scientific/statistical data.
