Super nice but way out of my price range. Just recently purchased an Old Town Auto Pilot 136 and that was at the upper limits of what I felt comfortable spending. I would be finding a new place to live if I came home and told my wife I spent that much just on a kayak motor. That being said I’m sure they’ll sell a ton.

Chad, I have not seen the battery in person and so I don’t know the dimensions. Is there any chance that I can fit it into a 16 x 16 Yakattack Blackpak Pro? If so, would the cable fit through the YakAttack Gridlock thru hull wiring kit?

Torqueedo is worth the price. I’ve tried all of the newports and all of the junk bixpy systems. You can’t beat the price to range ratio of a watersnake and a 12v lifepo but if you got the money, the torqueedo is worth the quality.

Definitely not a kayak. If kayak tournamets wont let people use a bluesky boatworks angler 360. Then this shouldnt be able to qualify for kayaks tournaments. Literally just becoming pay to play like bass pros. My kayak opinion if u cant paddle it on an 8 or 10 mile kayak trip its not a kayak. I use a canoe paddle to paddle my jon boat around on rivers. Can i now use my jon boat as a canoe in kayak tournaments? No that would be silly. Ironically, i can almost guarantee a jon boat is easer to paddle using the j stoke with a canoe paddle that this would be with a kayak paddle.

More than the cost of an excellent kayak. Ridiculous. My xi3 will work just fine on my Hobie.

Seeing alot of haters on this kayak not just here but everywhere I’ve seen it. Don’t kayak anymore but if I did this would be on my list for sure! Still fits all the basic requirements for a kayak to me, cheaper than boat, shallow water abilities, put it in truck bed, paddle it! What part isn’t kayak?

Hey chad, love the content! Would this transducer be mounted on a pole like the garmin products or can you mount it directly to your kayak? I’m assuming the only reason to use it on a pole is to be able to look around without actually moving your kayak

I enjoy Kayak fishing , much cheaper than those huge bass boats , I see those boats parked in driveways without moving all year round , I don't think i have more than 1000 bucks invested in my kayak and I store mine in the garage easier to transport.

By all means it's a beast, but just remember some of us are happy with our setup now. Took me a few yaks, and motors but yeah I'm happy. If you can afford it, and are happy then I'm happy for you. All about what you like, and what you want to spend. PWR129 with NK180 HAPPY

Minn Kota bow mount motors already have a "Boat Scale" setting to eliminate getting thrown when in anchor mode. I set my Terrova to "-2" and it doesn't jerk me around at all. Not exactly innovative.

Personally , useful information like cost, how it deploys/stows, and graph compatibility are more important than warranty yet no mention of any of my additional concerns.
