I bought her first album and I thought lyrically it was funny but her guitar playing was amazing. Her personality definitely came through the album and I think she should have went in the punk direction kinda like Wendy o Williams.
So irritating
It seems ironic that she has such sophisticated classical skills and yet sounds like a crazy hot mess as soon as she opens her mouth.
She was fucking awful. Juilliard Schmulliard. She sucked at guitar
i have ALL of Kat's recordings, i actually took all her instrumentals and put them on one CD Vivaldi Winter Barber of Seville all of them that CD is amazing half of her recordings have vocals and are S and M bondage songs so it is quite a contrast
guys, can you say please, what the name of intro song?
ToB theme song. By me 🤣
@@templeofbleh2315 sound very good, you have full?
It's just that this is my first time on this channel, I didn't know it was your intro song😅
Thumb up and thanks for dedicate time to Kat
22:40 great photos!
I miss my friend … I miss this laugh! 03:59
I saw ingested live at the underworld in Camden last month and they are my favourite band, I couldn't agree more with Jason!😊
People were complaining because she screamed "WORSHIP ME OR DIE" at them? Sounds like a buncha whiny pukes who need to STFU and WORSHIP THE SHEER GENIUS OF THE GREAT KAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ingested is my favorite band ever, and i want to support them very much. And they are right. 25% is insane...
Saw URNE warming for Gojira in Tallinn. holy shit are these guys unhinged
Must be festival upload season 😂
It's been catch-up on editing season over here :D
she made Dave Mustaine cry.... HAHA
Good to talk to you mate. Some very fond memories of a fantastic day!
If Troma Entertainment was a guitar player it'd be her.
Sadly, the world missed the opportunity to have hosted a child born of Klaus Kinski and The Great Kat.
Greatness. Haha . Can you imagine? That level of drama would endanger humanity.
HA HA HA HA HA-HA-HA! HA HA HA HA HA-HA-HA!
Great interview. Drill Sgt is an absolute nutter. 😂😂. One of the best UK/HC bands. 👊🏽❤️🔥🔥🔥
"Highly-Technical Updown Tempo Crust/Dance-Metal. With notes of Bossa-Nova in a Live Setting when the Keytars hit.
They were supposed to play a place in Jax fl called Spike’s Doghouse but they had to cancel because the ceiling above the foot-tall stage was so low Peter wouldn’t have fit. Like at all. Lol. It was like 94. Maybe 95. I was so disappointed because the place was tiny and I was Type O OBSESSED. But then…. I got to see them open for Crüe. They played like 3 songs in 40 minutes and we left as soon as they were done. It was still light out. lol
Thirty years I’ve been into this band. I was about to graduate high school. The first time I heard Bloody Kisses I had started gettin the fizz with my HS girlfriend but told her to finish herself while I put my head in the speakers and turned it up. No lie.
Kat was metal for 13 yr olds, until they discovered real/good/great metal. Loved worship me or die when i was a kid. Totally generic as hell.
I really love evil never dies and as soon as I heard complete and total f-ing mayhem I could hear the influence of that album and complete and total hell by midnight.
For those of you who watch this video and/or know him, I am very, very saddened to say Felix passed away last night, 03/20. He was one of my best friend for over 35 years, and he is incredibly missed. R.I.P. Felix
Wounded. Was just texting him a few weeks ago about the Roadrunner doc
Kenneth and Jonathan are still around after all these years. 🎶🎵🎼🎧🖤💚🖤💚🖤
This was fantastically interesting. I bought the Worship Me or Die LP in 1989 not knowing anything about it or Kat. The cover art was insane and I knew roadrunner was a reliable metal label. The rawness and general ridiculous of the thing appealed to me as a 14 year old. I'm pretty sure I bought beethoven on speed the week it came out. Over the years I've kept an eye on her mind bending web pages. Thus documentary definitely helps fill in the blanks. Love it. Still love Worship Me or Die.
Cheers dude. Keep an eye out for the full History of Roadrunner doc.
I absolutely laugh so hard at Kenny and his impressions of Josh and Pete. I love Johnny I feel like he is the happiest of them all his laughter and smile is infectious.
I love this interview! You did such a great job! Love Kenny and Johnny! Stay Negative! 💚
Cheers, I appreciate the kind words
Hadn't played with Toxic Holocaust at the time of this. Now just finished a tour with them. Go on yersel James.
Wild, right?
Is this interviewer Kenny’s kid?
🤫
What a great story and documentary. Well-researched and put together, including commentary from the people who were there. The 35 minutes felt like only 5. Long live The Great Kat!
Thanks dude. You're gonna love the full History of Roadrunner doc, then!
All hail the goat!
I remember years ago when I first heard about Kat, I had high hopes, as I love shred guitar. I listened to a ton of Shrapnel records, etc. Guitarists such as Vinnie Moore, Tony Macalpine, Paul Gilbert, and Jason Becker, who could play in the neoclassical shred style and amazed me with their compositions, tones, and technique. Then there were other guitarists like Allan Holdsworth, who play a much deeper style in my opinion, but in keeping with the spirit of neoclassical influences, I had no expectations of Kat sounding anything like fusion, but I did hope that she would be a virtuoso shredder in the neoclassical style with a strong grasp of thrash. I respect other people's opinions, and if you love her, good for you. To me, I think she is a TERRIBLE guitarist, who has awful technique, poor tone and lackluster compositions. Nothing she has played that I have heard is in the same league as the Shrapnel shredders, they all are vastly superior to her, in every category. As for all of the Wrestling style shtick, it is not my style, but if it works for her, so be it. Here is a clip of Jason Becker, no distortion needed for this song, but check out his album Perpetual Burn for plenty of high octane heavy shredding. I chose his song Air because it is such a strong composition. This stuff is just so much more advanced than that Kat stuff. If Kat is your introduction to classical, hey okay, but to call her a virtuoso shredder? Not even close. czcams.com/video/ING7SNSHBQ8/video.html
Really great interview! Cool to see what the influences of Hellripper are. One of the best metal acts to come along in a long time.
Two of my favourite bands! I saw them both at Damnation the year they played, then again when they toured together. I think they compliment each other really well.
Did you see the eleveator doors opening on stage and Hellripper just stood there like :/ ?
Whatever this is.. I need more 👍
Sheeeeeesh I laughed so hard at the bird. Hit the sack!
Pajanini 😂
Wagner , chopin and don't forget that Back dude
Go bills
Loving this new format man, keep up the good work
Thanks, my dude.
The PRMC hearings were pretty epic. How awesome is it that artists from different genres and eras came together to tell Congress to get effed. Frank Zappa, John Denver, Dee Snider, etc. Icing on the cake was Dee calling Tipper a dirty minded pervert w out calling her that directly. 🤣 Was a huge win for musicians and artists being able to freely create art.
The Great Klonipin kueen...
Juliard would have never accepted anybody who acts like that...
has anyone ever asked julliard if she ever actually went there
I dont think juliard would have ever accepted somebody who acts like that...
Chemical imbalance
And Morton did die of cancer from smoking. She was right.
God... I never knew she was this in the Thrash Metal era 😮! I just happened to found her obscure FB page by accident/paid add and thought it was a frantic, catchy gimmick at guitar shredding, an assault on normal ear's senses by some internet musician. Until her post of a Thrash Metal compilation album with her along with other well known Thrash Metal bands. Didn't thought she goes way back...
