    I had such a terrible time with flaring my elbows and that caused an impingement, This is another exercise like all others where you need a mirror to see what you are doing. It's not an ego thing to watch your form and fix it. That's why the gym has so many mirrors. Don't let fair weather lifters shame you from watching your form.

    Mild injuries are a natural part of pushing yourself in any sort of exercise. Even when you do everything right, if you're training for a race and trying to progress, nagging injuries are an inevitability as you build mileage and intensity. Same goes for lifting in the gym. Eventually something is going to hurt a little. You take the time off and treat it with respect. Do what you need to do to heal and then watch out for it the next time.

    I’ve been taught to perform suspension leg curls by having the feet in the straps/rings. They feel absolutely gnarly on the hamstrings and calves. Your variation looks way more enjoyable and easier to set up.
