What a great week of treats from you Scarlett! And completely agree that your color comprehension is amazing - I've made a few of your Joy dresses but haven't been able to make it patchwork because your trait in this area is hard to meet. So I will change up the colors/fabric from the front top & back top - but I have to keep the same pattern for the 2 top pieces; side panels, etc. My eye just can't mix like you do but after I finish some of these, I'll have tons of fabric left so then and maybe I'll get more adventurous. I'm going to be so sad in September if you are taking holiday off but happy you have the ability to take some time to recharge! Enjoy and I'll be looking for you back here in October.

Oh I love the Koala teatowel dress 😍 The Koalas on my property are starting to get rowdy 😁 Spring is coming! I've been holding onto this indigenous style teatowel because I thought of sending it to you. It's mainly black with a traditional 'Dot Painting' on it. I have to say, I LOVE your hair styled like that. It suits you so much xx

I would definitely wear that dress. It's so gorgeous 👗😍 I started off with grid patterns, just think of connecting a jigsaw puzzle with each square grid piece then what's drawn inside. It should tell you on the pattern each square represents x inch or square. I used to use graph paper for that part. I know you can do it Xx

Had to smile when you showed the koala bear tea towel. Then the retro Australian print fabric. As an Australian I was thrilled to see what you created. That red brown is the colour of some eucalyptus trees after rain, or a red Jarrah tree. Enjoying the sharing of your work week. ❤

I thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos this week. You have inspired me. Today i went opshopping and bought a stack of fabric that was half price making them 50c to $3. All up I spent $19 and it took 4 loads of washing to wash it all.

Yay thank you so much for such a fun week in the life of you! I just wanted to give you a little tip on using the foam curlers, I use them when my hair is dry and comb it out with some foam styling lotion which dampens it and it drys within a few hours and the curls stay!
