Man bruh, every time I watch your videos you make me want to upgrade to a Hellcat 😅. Right now the plan is to upgrade to a 392 widebody Scat Pack Charger. Enjoy it for a few years then get a Hellcat widebody Charger. Some say that is a waste and I should skip the 392. If did do that I can see myself keeping the Hellcat longer than then I would a Scat Pack. Decisions... decisions ha!

Thanks for the content. Mods so far are srt overlays to match the b5 blue on my Daytona hc. Tinted side markers and lights. Cold air intake corsa. Mid Muffler delete. Eibach coils. About to get the chamber arms until then I’m putting some cheap 315’s fullway hp 108 all season tires. 5mm lz1 spacers on wheels to flush out the fenders with wheels. I want to remove the blue decals like you did and just go all white knuckle. Also I want to do what you did and get the newer hood then paint matched. So many things bro. Sucks that direct connection won’t let you record the process I wouldn’t mind a stage kit I got one near me in Colorado.

Did a muffler delete on my 22' charger hellcat. Was very pleased. Sounded way better than i thought it would. But, i totalled my hellcat a few weeks ago. Sucks.

By your logic leave the rear suspension as is and you can lower the front a bit because the front won’t effect the squat

I have a 392 challenger and i did a mid muffler delete and replaced them with dyno max race bullets and absolutely loved the sound, really deep and has more of a deep race tone to it. Changed out the stock tips for quads so i had to delete the rear resonators and i should have done that when i replaced the mids super aggressive but toned. love it and have no need for a cat back exhaust trust me, and for some reason my throttle response greatly improved to.

I have a mid muffler delete on my R/T and it sounds great and I lost no Hp or punch so idk, because a muffler just dims down the sound, not too much else.

When you had your Daytona 392, did you do any exhaust/ muffler mods? I’m thinking about doing something to mine. My exhaust is still bone stock.

This is a Compustar firmware issue. By default, when flashing the firmware, there is a heated seats settings toggle that can only be set with the USB weblink cable that the installer has to use to configure options. The option being set to on by default is trying to inject a toggle during remote start to the CAN BUS for that feature to turn on. This is causing confusion to the BCM as you've set something conflicting in the actual car settings screen. Almost like your driver was set to on and passenger to off, and then the Compustar is trying to send that toggle, which is reversing what you had last set them as. That's why it's able to work properly when your screen toggle is set to off. It may even be 2 separate options. One for seats and the other steering wheel. You may want to bring it to him and have him reflash those Compustar settings to off. Then, it will only do what you've set it to do in your car settings menu. That's what I think is happening. The only way to make sure is to have him reflash those settings into your Compustar brain and then test it. Also, the red remote isn't really the "one" your installer used for the OEM fob lock-unlock-lock sequence. That should work the same on both your red and black Dodge fobs. All it is doing is using that sequence of lock-unlock-lock presses to tell the Compustar to remote start the car. You should technically be able to do that same sequence from your driver and passenger door lock switches as well as both OEM fobs.

Before you get an exhaust system, have you looked into products that keep your active exhaust flaps open? (MFer active exhaust plates, Zautomotive active exhaust delete kit, etc?)

No exhaust upgrades just for sound. i like the low profile until i smash

I recently did a mid delete and I like it. Had it on my 2018 and they sound the same very deep and I almost feel like I can just hear the engine drinking up the gas, sounds super cool. I did it cause I wanted quick sound I’ll more than likely have a corsa exhaust installed next year. I do feel a slight lag when I completely floor it. I don’t hear anything that sound like tin cans. I think ppl confuse a muffler delete with a cat delete. Cat deletes can harm the engine pretty badly I did it on my old 94 Silverado 350 motor and started knocking within a year. As far as doing a mid muffler delete, it’s a budget friendly option, shouldn’t be a permanent option tho.

Do you have issues with remote start dying when you get in?

Go to stainless Works and listen to their different muffler and exhaust sounds.

Don’t do a muffler delete. Change out your muffler for a deeper sound. It will always stay clean that way.

No back pressure loss because stock mufflers and muffler delete are straight through design.

I enjoy the mid muffler delete. My only issue is when I drive with windows down. At times it sounds like a soda can. I'm actually gonna go to super 10s. For a deeper sound. Overall no regrets.

I heard that someone has done a muffler delete on his challenger hellcat, and his engine blew up and dodge denied his warranty.

I will never do a muffler delete on my hellcat.
