Got my first one in 1980. had six Rhodies over the years. Our last two - sisters from successive litters, both aged out at 12 years. Would love to get another one, but the vets in our area (Long Island, NY) have become predatory, taking advantage of people's love for their pets.

I've had ridgebacks since 1995, got the first one by mistake (long story) and been in love with them ever since. All my kids have grown up with a ridgeback by their side . Marvelous breed and i praise the day we made that mistake. Love and miss loving beautiful friends but never forgotten - Conan, Honey, Shona and Megan. Xxxx
