13 Strings and A Two Dollar Bill - "How Many Biscuits Can You Eat?"
Tomcat Wyatt Yurth & The Notorious Nora Jean (13 Strings and A Two Dollar Bill) pay tribute to a bluegrass classic sometime around 2003 at one of Asheville's favorite busking spots, Woolworth Walk, a few feet from Pritchard Park, another busking hotspot. The audio and video were in sync when uploaded and remained synced for years, until recently. The video quality has also degraded. Someone suggested editing the video online to resync as I no longer have the original. I saw the download button in Studio and decided to do the edit on my desktop. When I played the download, the video was in sync and with noticeably improved video quality. I could upload the downloaded video now, but this seems to be a problem CZcams should be aware of and address. I've sent a feedback report. I learned this one from the original Silly Sisters album Maddy Prior and June Tabor. I have sung it with various groups over the years.
I learned the song from Silly Wizard off of their album So Many Partings.
This version comes from the singing of Johnny Moynihan off of De Danann Selected Jigs Reels and songs mid to early 1970s.
Very nice that you are doing your research on these songs, I am learning a bit more from your notes that I was not necessarily aware of. I learned this version from Seamus Ennis.
