I taught IT for 10 years dealing with internet security and desktop. This is one of the subjects i reflected on. Basically don't ever give your details out no matter who they are if they email you call you or text you unless you 100% know who they are. Don't ever be affraid to call the company they are pretending to be. If you don't want your number visible there are apps to block them but make sure the app score rating is high. Most free apps are stuffed with ads so paying for a good app is always worth it. Always block a number by holding on the number and select "Block". Be safe where ever you are.

they don't expect everyone to be stupid, they just want to attract the ones that ARE stupid as they're easier to fool. It's their method of not wasting time on people who can't be fooled.

They don't think we are all stupid, but they know some are. It's like fishing. some fish might look at the hook and think "I'm not eating that", while others bite.

As people said below. They could easily make a polished text, but they like their texts to look scammy so that the few who think it's real are less savvy and therefore much more likely to be able to be manipulated.

You answer your own question in the video title. "I know some fall for it" That's exactly why they do it, because they know some people WILL think it's real and respond in the way the scammers want. They send out loads of scams and while most will see through it, enough won't to make it worth their time and effort. I'd have thought that was kind of obvious.

Scammers are actually counting on the people who can spot a scam to just ignore their messages. That way, they're left with people who might actually fall for their tricks.

It is constantly being up someone's behind, nagging them, questioning them, and it's so obnoxious and can be stressful. It's a form of workplace bullying, and they are usually people with control issues. I am sorry that happened to you. I pray that these types of people get what they deserve...

I got that with my line manager. Its getting worse and worse. He started off micromanaging making me fill in time stamps in a little chat group he made with me and my leads. He also nitpicks at everything even little spelling mistkas in my work even though they can easily be corrected. Thing is he's done this day in and day out for the past 6 months and its getting to me I want to leave. As I think I am in a loosing situation here.

Too long a greeting. I hate it when people say, "how can I help you?" Good morning, company name is enough. Then let them speak. I would assume someone rang because they needed some help, so you are there to help them. As for "not a problem" - so irritating. Why ever should or could it be a problem? Something more positive would be better, eg "yes, that's fine".

There’s an easier way. Pre drill a tiny hole, then start the eye screw and with a hook screw inserted into your drill drill away. You’ll thank me later.
