partners were a mistake and they are not banned so i dont see any problem with this card. in modern i can see it banned but in 4 player its fine as you can get 3v1ed in commander if you to far ahead.

Personally when it comes to the deck (i currently main it) there is too much useless creatures, maxing out gyruda's triggers is a must. Missing some extra clone spells and more counterspells. Not having panharmonicon, kozilek (for mill protection), and mortuary (for the infinite) isnt that optimal. Good stuff isnt going to do much for winning games vs having more gyruda triggers and either milling the opponents out or swinging a crap ton of 6/6s at them.

You said it doesn't matter, but it does matter which creature you play Twisted Fealty on. If not played on Stella, she won't untap. So the combo won't be able to go infinite.

Urza is my main Commander! Got some upgrades coming in to make it even meaner! "Hey bud thats a nice Commander you got there, would be a shame if it became a 0/1 indestructible bug that cant do anything."

Delney is my new favorite card to this deck, it double kedis n Malcolm effect, so you result to get around 10 treasure on damage of malcolm, so with double strike it's 20 treasure, one shoting a table if reckless is out

It's dead now... well, it was pretty much dead on arrival. lol

So the idea I have with it is build Caesar as soldier tribal then add cards like city on fire and other damage multipliers as well as token generators and multipliers and just bust the commander.

Also there was a recent update to the deck list! Once again my bad! I've added trouble in pairs to the deck and I'm currentlying thinking of taking g Whir of Invention out cause most of the time that I've had Whir its just been a dead card. Otherwise thank you for covering my deck!!!!

Howdy the creator here. Forgot to actually put into the primer the stasis locks buuuuuuttttttt...... So you saw the wrong line for the stasis lock the intended way to lock is to either have smothering tithe out and just pay for stasis with the treasures. OOOOOORRRRR you have phyrexian alter and esper urza out. For as long as you have another creature out you can attack with the construct each turn and sac the tappen construct to pay for stasis. I remember I was originally including an scepter line for the infinite mana so that'd why the ballista and Basalt Monolith are still there. Both I'm keeping in cause ballista is just good. Could probably swap to grim Monolith though.

Super interesting and well reasoned video! I'm (Charlie) a UX Designer in games, and definitely feel the same way about packs. The natural progression from less rare to most rare card helps build the anticipation when opening, even down to the placement of the rarity icon to facilitate the reveals. Especially compared to Pokemon cards where the player has to reoganise the cards themselves if they want that progression. The actual design of the cards also give a very smooth experience - both from the minimal design and hierarchy of information. Being a game designed for kids and more core players definitely shines through in these decisions, and contributes in part to how "easy" it is to teach others.

For your points, my thoughts since you asked for others opinions: 1) Pack Opening Experience (Neutral)-Like any TCG, you can open both good and bad cards and it never feels amazing to open bad cards (especially if both rare slots and foil are "bad"). Overall, it felt the same to me as other games aside from sometimes coming across production issues-scratched/chipped foil cards, extremely misaligned cards, and overly dark images behind foiling. The production quality overall needs improvement. 2) Organized Play Experience (Bad)-Ravensburger had 0 plans for OP and ultimately left it up to stores and the community to create their own organized play. I am not including the OP kit that was given to stores at launch. Due to it ultimately coming down to the community, the quality then varies tremendously depending on who is involved. Some stores even had 0 interest in attempting Organized Play due to RB not really providing them proper support. Due to limited product, some events had extremely high entry costs due to price of product, or were limited to just constructed, which had the issue of many people not having access to product to build decent decks. While I have had some amazing experiences within my community, I would not apply those experiences to actual organized play since it came down to individuals and stores creating their own ways to get people in. 3) Gameplay (Good, Neutral, & Bad)-This one widely differs depending on which approach you take. From a purely mechanical approach, I find the gameplay just okay and at times broken. Going first most often leads to massive advantages, and the single card per turn leads to a lot of top decking games unless you fill your deck with a lot of ways to draw cards. The overall mechanics are very derivative. The theme is ultimately what makes people really stick with it and give the game a chance. Where the game shines is how accessible it is to play, and getting even non-gamers into it is very easy. And despite the high accessibility, it actually has a much deeper strategy than people realize. As far as interaction in the game, it is ultimately a race game and aggro is often an option, limiting how much interaction there really is. But the reason we are seeing Amethyst+Ruby do so well is it has incredible options to limit if not outright eliminate, the opponent's ability to interact with your cards and strategy. I had a lot of conversations with people recently about the game, and a lot of people actually think the game is in a bad place from a competitive standpoint. Control, in general, is just too good of an option to use in this game. 4) Expansions (Neutral)-Every set will have good and bad cards, and things that are exciting to play. What is unfortunate is when your favorite characters are released, but they are used on mediocre to bad cards. Overall, locally, we have found Rise of the Floodborns an overall worse set than Chapter 1. I am not saying it is outright bad, just clunky overall, less versatile, and it didn't really improve the overall game experience. When we did a draft using two Chapter 1 packs and two Rise of the Floodborn, many of us immediately realized just how much worse or less useful set 2 cards were, especially when comparing inkable vs uninkable cards. There is also a reason we are seeing most of the Legendaries in set 1 still being used with only 1 or 2 getting much play in set 2. Set 2 of course has some strong cards and did affect the competitive meta (mainly by making it more narrow and less varied), but I'm not sure the set overall has been great. St 3 of course has yet to be released, nor have we seen many cards. So far, nothing overall has excited me and I'm concerned we will see the same problems we saw in set 1 and 2.

The reason not having color restrictions works for Magic is due to the resource system, which creates a system to manage colors in a deck. In Lorcana, it is literally impossible to create two color decks in draft. Even if you opened up some to 3-4 colors, it is still extremely unlikely it would work (or your card pool is extremely limited). That being said, I will agree drafting Lorcana is not as deep as it is in other card games, generally speaking, though there is more decision-making to do than people realize. There are also a lot of deep decisions to make during the games due to cards having different values in limited and not playing around the obvious meta is constructed.

You might go a bit harder on the U1 counterspells. Arcane denial is fine (don’t listen to the hive mind they don’t understand math) in any Izzet deck but when it costs U it’s bananas. I think mana leak is kinda great too if you have a one mana discount. Maybe you should be on trickbind? It’s close in any blue cedh deck but if you are only two colors and you can usually cast it for 1 mana it starts to look great. There must be at least a couple good ones maybe mystical dispute is worth a slot? Maybe over one or the red blasts? Between casting that vs blue spells and the times your commander has at least a two mana discount I would expect dispute to cast for 1 mana most of the time. I’d just really lean into that discount when considering cards to slot in. Prob get those red blasts out I think in favor of whatever generally decent interaction pieces w one or two colorless pips. Just my thoughts 🤷‍♂️

My guild, House of Markov, was active and performing well clearing challenges, etc since day one. Now theres no one on anymore. Ive even had the game crash randomly and cost me wins. Sad to see a good game go down like this.

Also this deck can be played on a budget. Mine is 500 eur and I have a really solid win rate against full-power expensive cedh decks.

Great pulls, 5 legendaries with 1 being foil seems to be above average from what I’ve sent people discussing. Overall I’m excited for the game and can’t wait for prices to drop once more supply hits the market on Sept 1st.
