Well worth the wait. The Stewart family and all the wonderful folks at Bark River deliver another gem. I know I say in the video the wait was 4 months, but that's not a bad thing at all. It's how pre-orders work. If anything, it actually came up faster than I thought it would what with Covid and the endless shutdowns.

I still need to get leather strops for it, but in about 15 minutes it changed my old Mercator Black Cat from a butter knife into a mean little slicer again. Not bad for a trial run. The drink is an Old Fashioned made with Buffalo Trace, Fee Brothers Cardamom bitters, and an agave chamomile simple syrup.
They both look really nice together. Congrats.

very nice looking knife! I'm a Bark River fan myself. I currently own 10 of them, but this isn't one of them. Sweet blade!
I like that curly maple! Very nice. I got mine today. I'm very happy with it. The handle is so comfortable in hand. I got white bone micarta with carbon fiber bolster and a turquoise spacer. Pretty knife. Bark River knives are hard to beat.

I’ve been checking these out on DLT and I do believe you got the best dark curly maple out of all of them. The figuring on the wood is beautiful.
Camera angle works well it was just a bit hard to hear you when you were unwrapping though. Sweet knife!

That is funny shit because I was watching this video while enjoying a glass of bourbon lol sweet blade though.
There is some serious thought put into that handle.
I had to get it in white with red liners to match the Kitsune theme. I was sorta worried about the mosaic pins, because we can only really say we want them. Pre-orders don't have control on what pattern of mosaics they put in. But I really liked the ring of brass and copper circles. Makes me think of Kitsunebi at the tips of splayed out fox tails.
