I have two TC Hawken .50 caliber rifles, one flintlock and the other percussion cap. I use a .490 lead ball with a .015 lubed patch that makes for a snug fit pushing it down the barrel with several short strokes with the ramrod. They both are very accurate at 50-70 yards using 40 grains of 2f powder. Factory sights on both.

The butt stock magazine holders you have to be careful with, because they have been known to pop the bottom of the magazine plate off if you put the magazines in the holders wrong.

The hi point rifles are pretty good guns. I can't say the same for the pistols.

Congratulations. It's always awesome you harvest two deer in the same hunt, especially when one of them is a buck. The broadhead on the arrow that hit the doe appears to have opened as it should judging by the amount of blood on the ground and the wound. It probably closed as you pulled it out of the ground. And is that public land or private. I am pretty sure that I saw 3 different tree stands as you were spinning around by the creek. Was curious as to why there are so many so close.

I will still make fun of hi point. My favorite comparison to a hi point is they are like a cheap hooker. Ugly as hell but works like crazy and gets the job done.

this man did not do his homework before this video. It is not good to drope the mag on the ground. It might bend or damage it when it hits the ground. Remember Cheap Mags for Cheap gun.

HIPOINT makes those magazine holders. 4595TS, and 1095TS are my favorites. Home defense, Combat, plinking, whatever you want to use them for.

Good reviewing of the 995TS.. I've had mine now for less than a year and I love it.. I've heard all the stuff said about Hi-Point's , and I've ever said a lot of the same things.. Until I started hearing more and more reviews giving Hi-Point's a thumbs up.. And once I went ahead and got one , I feel kinda bad about talking smack. Because now I'm sold on Hi-Point.👍🇺🇸

I have a hard time seeing the green sights. I’d rather have had old Glock sights on my 365 or a old three dot set up. I may paint mine and if that doesn’t scratch my itch then I’ll spring for some Hackathorns.

I find the iron sights are pretty good; both front and back have to be brought down almost all the way for fist-sized groups at 40 ft.

I've converted the 4595 to a bullpup using the high tower armory kit and put an mcarbo kit into it. It's a nice, futuristic looking, short, full length rifle. Most that don't understand bullpups think it's a SBR. I enjoy my HighPoint!

The many challenges of shooting a flinter is what made the caplock such a welcome development. There is more to shooting a flintlock than meets the eye, for sure.
