What I dont like in most walls I see done by most applicators, is this repetitive left to right or right to left movement, which is busy and truly not Organic as it is done in Italy. I dont know the gentleman doing the sample, but Venetian Plaster is an Art, in order to render something truly beautiful, you must be an Artist, not just an Applicator, it happens with any Plaster, whether is a Lime-based/Acrylic, Metallics or French Clays. The Italian Stuccos can truly look awful if a color wash is done as a top coat. I have seem Lime Paint done by painters and we had to redo the entire room. That has been my observation!!

Ok but what IS it? chemical soup? cement? plaster?

You could roller the primer and trowel it down. I'm not getting Africa vibes from this. Never understood the nomenclature. I like this product but the metallic can be a bit overwhelming.
