Hey, quick correction, Schlatt is not conservative, he poses himself as one, it's a persona, it's satire, according to his own words in an interview with Anthony Padilla, on camera he just acts like the people that were around him while growing up in an exagerated manner, and yes, sometimes he does go far with it, but this persona is how he manages to stay clean from cancellation

I think this is a pretty dangerous statement in terms of the truth of it. Schlatt has stated multiple times over in his career, most recently on Anthony Padilla's podcast, that his 'personality' on CZcams is a facade or a character. This is debatable but when Schlatt makes jokes about right wing views it seems much more than he's poking fun of the right wing views rather than actually stating them. Alluding that he's racist and transphobic I think is sorely mistaken when people, like Anthony Padilla who seem very progressive, are happy to interact and collaborate with Schlatt. Who knows, I'm not a mind reader so I could be completely wrong and maybe Schlatt is a hard right conservative of some sort but I just thought jumping the gun and saying he's an outspoken far right conservative is pretty misleading and misinformation all around. To slap that label on him seems just as bad as the twitter warriors labelling him as transphobic, racist etc. What would be great is if we could get round to criticising people who are actually outspoken as transphobic or racist or any other dumbass beliefs similar to that.

A little sad on the fact a season 2 will never come out, but you have to face it with the maturity you have when a show gets cancelled and ends without and ending or ends in a way that doesn't seem right. We can at least enjoy the times we had as a community. Heck me and my friends sometimes mention DSMP for laughs. I think it never really was continued due to none of the members having motivation, Techno passing away (o7 king), it already being far too long, and they hype is dead, and the fact that there were way too many controversies in the last few years. It makes sense why some youtubers stopped talking to the DreamTeam due to controversies and stuff of that nature. Even though It Was Never Meant To Be, we should be happy these memories even happened.
