1. Ever thought why countries like Hong Kong and Singapore, even with a dense population, are so well-maintained and clean? That's because of the mindset. Our brain plays a very important role in our day-to-day life. If we decide to speak out to people, friends, and family to change our Indian streets, like the ones in Singapore, then that will be the first step to making India better by spreading the news to the majority of the common population so that millions of people can together urge the Government to take necessary action. By just spreading and developing that interest towards cleanliness, maintenance, or redesigning society, it will bring about a major change towards Sustainability in India.
2. Awareness regarding Mental Health. What most people think is that if a person looks good, then he/she is completely fit. But what about the mind? There could be some problems that many are not aware of. And people often judge the person but not their problem. Always remember: The Person is not the problem; the Problem is the problem This quote specifies that one should never judge a person unless and until they know their problem. In 2017, there were 197.3 million people with mental disorders in India, comprising 14.3% of the total population of the country. That means so many people were having mental health disorders, and more than half of them and their families did not realize it and kept blaming that person, thinking that he or she was purposely behaving like this, and that too without understanding the problem. Now, you must be wondering about the nature of the problem. Well, the problem could concern anything, from overthinking certain matters, which could result in reduced concentration on work and studies due to the negative chemicals naturally produced in the brain. These chemicals may cause intense fear, mood swings, and anger that can interfere with one's daily routine. Therefore, it is easy to identify a person's problem through their behavior so we should try to resolve it by consulting a clinical psychologist or counselor who may prescribe medication to alleviate the issue. These problems occur particularly in children due to their peak growth stage, so it is crucial for parents to address their children's problems without blaming them for their shortcomings. Consequently, parents should also understand the problem and consult a relevant medical professional.
