Good horses and what a good old fashioned race with the two horse's and drivers,and I honestly do boleve that the othorateys should close down surten roads on a Sunday morning and a Sunday afternoon just so that sulkey racers can have a safe race because i honestly think that its in the whole countries benefit to do so due to the amount of young people manly men this are involved in the whole thing whitch is keeping them out of trouble amonsked other things,so why shouldn't they give the young men the oppertunaty to be involved in a sport that's keeping them on the right side of the law,and wouldn't the Irish government be in a better position if they were to do this as they would then have a tool in which they could use in order to have soom sort of influence,ny being able to use this sport as a tool in which they could say if use do start to play up we can both and we will suspend the Sunday sulkey raceing until order is restored???? AND also think of all the money the tax payers would save due to the lack of crime not being committed by any of the young men due to the fact that they are occupied with the sulkey raceing and not crime,and also think of all the money that the government could earn by even charging a small fee for each and every single sulkey race and or location of each of the events that's taking place on each and every single Sunday of the year,and think how the whole of that particular community were each of these events is taking place would be able to benefit from the small fee from every body that attends these race's,as the money generated could go and be used to revamp that community and go towards paying for other initiatives for all of the younger generation of that area which in turn would give the young people the oppertunatys that they wouldn't have normally had if it wasn't for the sulkey raceing on a Sunday, so it would be a win win all round not just for the community and the government but for every one as a whole,and what could possibly be better than that,as it's something that the government has been talking about and wonting for years and even now after all the millions of pounds that there government has spent just trying to achieve this but failed,but this way the five finally get what theyve wasted all of that money over the years trying to achieve and failed and the community also get what theyve always wonted and its all being paid for by the community!!!!

They often shoe and race foals as young as 10 months towing full grown men. When a horse falls and can't get up they take the cart and harness leaving the animal at the side of the road.

These pileys are disgusting little scum bags and I'm telling you now them two beautiful creatures can be used for something better!!! The big one on the right at the start could be ridden for cross country and that little one can be bought for a little girl who wants to do mounted games... Hiya, could anyone tell me if this type of trotting race has a specific name for it? Is it just called trotting racing? I'm riding a Lightweight coloured mare at the moment for its owner and she used to race like this as a 2/3yr old before the owner bought her- She's such a beauty I wandered why they never kept her for trotting... Not fast enough maybe?
