So he starts by saying: So the combat in genshin is push this bottom etc and wait for the thing to glow, you also have the element reactions to do more damage etc etc, essentially all characters are like that with some having an extra mech, So but wuwa you have the forte which has its own mechanics depending the character. the intro&outro energy which when you switch to another character does an intro attack, it gives buff to other characters whale you switch etc so you need to keep that in mind and use it well. Each character has 4 basic attacks and one heavy, you also have the air attacks, you can do some combos, mismatch attacks like "basic hit+ basic hit+ heavy attack" or " basic hit+ basic hit+ air attack+ switch cancel to another character+ do a different combo+ wait for the other character intro attack to fill+ use your echo+ animation cancel a combo then swicth to that other character that had its intro attack filled up+ he does his intro attack+ then you do his combo all that while keeping in mid what the boss is doing, parrying, dodging, this gets harder in harder content. depending on the echo they have different uses and attacks even possibles, each character even 4*s have depth and feel really fun to play each of them have different mechanics to keep track off like sanhua forte etc etc....................but he says "i cant choose which combat is more complicated/better". The artifacts arent that different............................bruh. they have some similarities but they are different and better in wuwa they are literal pokemons. you also can get the exp to level them up without expending waveplates/resin (limit n wuwa 240). with patch 1.1 its gonna be even better and easier to farm echos we are getting a strange waveplates like in honkai star rail all this within less then a month. So about the gacha, when you start the game you see bunch of free sht in the mail, pulls, primogems etc etc, there is this beginner discounted banner when you pull 50 times you a random 5 star, after that there is another banner where you wish 80 times you can get a 5 star of your choice, sometimes you get lucky and get an extra 5* on top of the one you choose, after that they recently gave another banner (by mail) which you can instally unlock a 5 star character of your choice. The weapon banner which at 80 pull is hard pity and you will get that 5* weapon 100% no bs, soft pity is 60 in the game iirc, the pity in general is 80 and not 90 like genshin................ after all that he says "but i cant really tell which game is more generous"......................................................................................... Proceeds to sht on genshin bc they haven't changed their sht boring gameplay loop in 4 years with sht events (mihoyo doesn't care what their players think what the feedback they give) after that he talk about illusive realms and how so fun it is, which is an event in wuwa. he doesn't talk about how much better and fun the exploration in wuwa is, farming pokemons, and just exploring the world is really fun, doesn't talk about the holograms where you fight hard bosses, or all the quality of life features the game has over genshin like wall running, dialogue skipping (which after an update they made so all of the main story is skipable) that just some quality of life features, stuff that genshin players have been asking for 4 years (and still don't get). Finally proceeds to ask to himself which game he thinks is better ( personal opinion i get it but hes trying to be objective here, opinions are one thing facts are another) he says that gameplay loop is really important to him meaning the game that has the better gameplay loop should be the better game....................... but He says is early to tell since wuwa just came out (true but i don't think is that hard to tell which one is better) tho hes answer to which game is better is "the games are essentially identical" that's it........ lmfao

tbh, story an characters is genshins point. if youre not into the story, or excited about characters. youre going to run out of content. i love both, so for me im still into it

Actually you should never use astrite on standard banners. No. 2, rerolling now is super duper easy with them giving you like 40 pulls off the bat. Then you get get 2 more from somewhere, I forgot. Then 6 more from stardust which in this game we call oscillated corals from the store. So essentially you get 40 pulls for the discounted banner. And that 40 pulls is enough to pull 50 times because of the discount and get first 5 star. Then you can use the remaining pulls on the weapon banner for Verina's best weapon "Variation". Hopefully get. Then I think the regular sword is the best with energy regen and crit rate. The broadblade is great of Calcharo but only in super late game when your Calcharo is built well with sufficient crit rate/crit damage that you can utilize the lustrous razor's amazing text buff for Calcharo. Like it is broken af on Calcharo. Oooo yeah, the 2 pulls, you can just get from logging daily kekw. 2 days, 2 pulls, then after that, they give you more and Sanhua. Then they also give you a free 5 star selector because they kind of messed up the discounted banner and people complained about it so yeah, a straight off the bat 5 star selector just with 1 pull. With this special coupon that you can just redeem the 5 star you want. Genshin could never anyways. They messed up because some people complained they still wanted to pull on the discounted banner for 4 stars because it is 8 pulls each but I find that kind of pepega but anyways free 5 star is always welcomed. So, you can start off the game really strong with Calcharo and Verina but imho, Jiyan Verina Mortefi is a better combo. But I gotta wait for Yin Lin now and gotta skip Jiyan. Tbh, Jiyan is really strong for unskilled players. I mean with Calcharo you need to have impeccable timing on boss mechanics because most of the skills takes so long to go off that you just get hit unless you know the boss moves and time your autos and Es in line with boss attacks to parry them. And dodges too. But Jiyan is just easier. His attacks are so fast that you just parry sh1t without you even knowing kekw. And dodges are quick the execute because you attack so fast. I don't understand why because both are broadblade users but Jiyan attacks so fast, you'll actually think he is a spear user like Zhongli but there are no spears in this game. But yeah. So, if you are hot on rerolling, try getting Jiyan, which is close to impossible I think? Then get Verina from the 1 pull selector. If you are tired of rerolling, you can roll for Calcharo/Verina from 50 pulls random 5 star and get another from the 1 pull selector and call it a day because Yin Lin is better than Jiyan.

I think the echo system is far better than the artifacts in Genshin. I love exploring the world and finding loot that I can use. In Genshin I just get tied to a one room instance and spam it until RNG rolls in my favor. I wish Genshin would let us get viable artifacts we actually use in the open world, especially to what size the world is and how great it looks. Instead you log in, do your daily’s and run your dungeon then log out for the rest of the day. In Waves, I can keep playing and playing, farming as much echos I want till I can upgrade them.

Everyone comparing WuWa to GI, but in reality WuWa is more likely have more similarity to ToF. But I guess they won't know that especially those genshin die hard fan boys who got baited by their fellow die hard fan boy/s by saying "ToF is genshin killer" 😂

remember when Genshin Impact came out and people.who played BotW 3 years earlier said that it was just a BotW clone? Some of those former Zelda players even refused to play Genshin (some people in Japan even boycotted Genshin). In the end, the two games were different in the important ways despite the similarities. I feel like Wuwa and Genshin are now in the same relationship 3 years later, where some Genshin players refuse to play Wuwa because they think it's just a Genshin clone. At the end of the day, I think it's irrelevant, if you enjoy the game, and have fun that's all that matters. If you refuse to give a game a chance because you think it's "just a clone" of another game you like, then suit yourself, you don't have to play that game.

I really like 2 things more than genshin. Character models and Combat. The rest would be skip button which genshin has made me suffer, exploration and annoying puzzles every where.

I hope somebody can give me some advice here... I stopped playing Genshin Impact a year ago, right at the end of Sumeru's archon quest... probably 3.6 as I remember getting/trying to get Alhaitham. I didn't play extremely seriously (no meta obsession), but I did spend around... around 1500 hours on it? Not sure. I've been wanting to go back but now that so many people are talking about Wuthering Waves (and I don't want to face the FOMO of realising I lost free stuff as a f2p) I'm tempted to just go for that game instead and stick to it. What would you guys recommend? Do I go back to Genshin or do I start over with WuWa?

I played genshin when it came out it was new and also a great mix of many game styles but it was so limited in terms of combat and how much energy you could use if y’all remember the og energy was super low could nearly do anything. Withering combat is way better the map is interesting and full of things to do and doesn’t limit the player anywhere near as much as genshin. The characters are all the same they know who to appeal to clearly.

You know what, I couldn't even watch the whole video, how do you claim in the title its your opinion and then proceed to just narrate the game, even when you give your opinion you should be subjective, lets say I love apples, I can still recognize pineapples are good and/or enjoyable, its ok if you guys like genshin more than wuwa, do recognize that wuwa does many things better and compare accordingly, you cant compare it to the most recent genshin update since the game has been a work in progress for 4 years. The thing people also fail to understand is that there's nothing bad with wuwa being similar or even the same as genshin, genshin itself is a copy, and not even that is necessarily bad because at the end of the day its still different, all gacha game are going to be similar, doesn't mean everybody is getting their ideas from genshin, its ok to take the great things and keeping them then taking the bad thigs and improving on them. It feels like many of the things people compare in regard to genshin and wuwa are so simple, OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE PLAY OTHER GAMES, you can take inspiration from everywhere, how come the game its "a carbon copy" because you can run around and pick up plants just like in genshin, are you nuts???, the games are competing against each other, they're businesses they want to make money, Its great business practice to keep things familiar considering the similarity of the games and the audience it attracts, doesn't mean we should condemn wuwa for "copying" when genshin did this too. Lastly, this goes to both communities, don't be d suckers, be critical, that's what makes the game get better and better, letting the devs know when you don't like something, I can tell you everything I like better in wuwa and all the things it has to improve, the games can coexist and you can enjoy one or the other, but when you play wuwa why in God's name would you go in to compare and complain instead of playing the game like a normal person bro, that's no way to enjoy the game "its all the same, this, this and that", like just uninstall it if its that unbearable, but don't complain about it and then proceeded to shield genshin like a lost child.

I ALWAYS enjoyed Genshin for the world, lore and story since day one. The combat and gameplay is simple enough, but the exploration and music is what made me play it consistently ever since it came out. It's the first game I played where i actually felt as if i'm travelling a world. Wuwa, on the other hand, itches my Dark Souls gamer side greatly. I can get my satisfaction from all the movement techs to traverse the world, building and getting good with my teams, all the while with a serviceable story and a world that's pretty enough to chill in. TL;DR Genshin is my comfort game in which I just wander around and listen to the music while i appreciate the gorgeous. Wuwa is where I actually play the game to enjoy it.

In my opinion. Wuwa is better in terms of technical ability required from the player but personally i care about exploration and story (combat is nice but isn't my main thing.) also when i tried wuwa and got to like lvl 30. It just felt like a general downgrade from what hoyo offers ( ignoring bad performance).

Not interested in this game until the console version comes out, but knowing the differences between Genshin and WW is good to know.

With me being someone who has completed every quest in genshin, never skips any dialogue, and even has read most of the archive entries, it is painful to see dialogue being skipped... but to each their own. The game looks cool, but genshin is more my style, and I don't have time to play a second game. So thank you for making content like this so I can enjoy the game vicariously.
