In 1988 I bought an Atari 65XE with an XC12 tape recorder and it was the Preliminary Monty 16k version (16 kilobytes) The Atari version of Montezuma's Revenge was different, it had a different hat and some links got hot and if you were on one board too long then you were carried away by a bat and you lost your life in the Preliminary Monty 16k version. there was no. Preliminary Monty 16k game. My Dad beat this somehow, he stayed up all night. It was on the Apple GSII and the final level just had the little guy infinitely falling catching coins. He woke us up the next day and showed us the lil guy infinitely falling catching infinity coins, wow~!

I used to play as kid untill last level in totally darkness and I remembered every step. I don't know if now I'd have same skills and patience:) One of best game I ever played on C64 and still enjoyable nowadays.

ATARI 800 XE. Childhood =)))

This one was one of a few games I played on Atari and as a Commodore fan/owner I sadly enjoyed it more than the C64 version. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

First time I played this game in 1988, I was 10. It was in USSR in Soviet republic of Kazakhstan. Hi to all Soviets children!!!! Still love this game and sounds
