Man I did not recognize Aaron from RBF. I think it's the lack of a Hawaiian shirt and addition of a beard. But I'm not surprised INK teamed up with a ska band considering they had the horn section from Less Than Jake on "IT Is The End". Honestly, aside from Spencer being on the vocals and the growls in the background, this could be a Reel Big Fish song.

This song was kind of a call-back to their Into Glory Ride / Hail to England era, with the doomy pace and sparse arrangement. It evokes the image of Sitting Bull's forces performing their rituals before heading out to send General Custer and his men to their final fate.

Thanks for the "Awakening From Abyss" review so, I already look forward to the next journey. If You check out the 2019 live version this song follows the album versions intro much more than this version does, which I believe in this case is a bit of an improvement. Theese Ladies tends to make changes on some of their intros Live.

For this song you just need to turn on the lyrics and feel the music. It is a masterpiece and my personal favorite.

This song helped me, years ago, really to like Asamis voice more. The first song i ever heared from them was "When Destinies Align" and i directly fell in love with the guitars, but coming from Symphonic Metal and beeing used to singers like Floor Jansen, Simone Simons, Sharon Den Adel and so on .. the singing in the pure powermetal style didn't really catched me at first. So then a guy said : you need to listen to their "E-songs" , thats "Edge of the World", "Epilogue" and "Empty Daydreams" .. and that really helped. Now i just love Asami in whatever she sings, and Lovebites is maybe my absolute top band now. I mean its hard to rank them against Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Ad Infintum and so on .. but i thing its the band i listened to most in the last 4.5 years.

This song is a masterpiece and it's also one of their progier songs. It's melodic storytelling at its best. Personally, all the songs on this LP are just bangers and it's hard to pick a favorite, but "Shadowmaker" and this track are my absolute favs.

Cool video, I happened to click on the right videos to find my way to the Lovebites Rabbit hole, I tried to figure out how hard it is to discover lovebites without any directions just on youtube, so far it seems nearly impossible to find Lovebites videos unless you click on a combination of european style powermetal + dragonforce. Or decide to check out Babymetal. other than that it seems highly unlikely to ever discover Lovebites organically. Word of mouth or if you go to a lot of concerts you will have a better chance of hearing about them, Are you going to be able to see Lovebites on their tour?
