Pipes on .my bike are loud and sound great But long ride it gets on my nerves. So thinking about a second bike for long rides and keeping my sweet sounding loud bike for shorter rides! Nothing wrong with two bikes right?
carry a tool box bro.
i put cobra tri flo's on my 2018 voyager and had the ivan flash done to it and totally love how the bike sounds a d runs now definitely reccomend the flash tune totally different bike performance wise
You need to work on your mic or get checked out for asthma. Good luck with your page.
hahahaha, thanks, Doc!
truth be told, though, my helmet seems to have shrunk in size since I got it, so things are a *bit* cramped in there.
🤨 Quit using the word "Weird" and use the word "Different" and you might enjoy the Old School Harley Experience 🚬😎.
The XLCH kick start only was ended in 1979.
cool tidbit! thanks for watching!
Chinese company. Freedom Performance is American made.
and?
@@moto_989 it's cheap and it's feeding our enemies but, you do you.
@@YARCHLRL so does the phone in your pocket, but thanks for watching!
@@moto_989 nope but thanks comrade. Good try.
It sounds good! I have a Yamaha Royal Star tour deluxe with Sharkroad pipes. They are louder than stock and on my bike it sounds like a V8 muscle car. I take my bike on long trips and I recently rode from DC to Tennesee and back with the pipes. I wear earplugs, but the sound didn't bother me for the 500 mile trip down and 500 mile trip back. I do get the drone sound in my modular helmet, but when I wear my half helmet, its not a factor.
I've noticed when I wear my half shell there's no problem with the droning because of the wind. But in my full-face lid it can definitely get annoying after a while. However, with music playing in my Cardo it's easy to tune out that droning. happy riding!
I had the Ivans Flash on my bike and hated it. It was never right after that and I sold it 3 months later. Yours sounds really nice. After the flash mine sounded terrible when you rolled on the throttle. I was unlucky with mine which was a 2019. The bike doesn't run that hot its just that it's a lot of very hot exposed metal close to your legs. It won't break without the flash.
that's so odd; you don't hear often about riders regretting the flash. what was the issue? had you spoken to Ivan about it?
Ivan would have flashed it back to stock for free i believe.
@@robarnold4570Yes he will. Mine was flashed in 2019 & was a bit contancourus at low speed. Updated last week to the 2022 update made a world of difference.
I personally feel the Cobra Tri-flows sound best on the Vaq/Voy/Nomad.
Sounds great ,I would get that for my Vaquero , It would be great if you post links to what your installing ,Cheers
sharkroad.com/products/kawasak-vaqueroi-mufflers?variant=39984271229096
I’m starting my second season of riding with Sharkroads on my Vaquero. Made a huge difference. Our two bikes sound identical. K&N Air Filter, Ivanized (ECU) and Sharkroads definitely made my Vaquero a more fun ride. I also changed up the stock bars with mini apes. Vulcan bag liners make travel (packing/unpacking) that much easier. Ride safe and thanks for sharing.
I still haven’t bit the bullet and Ivanized yet…
I put those same pipes on my Vaquero I can of like the popping sound but we’re is the place n NC u may take it to get your ECU flash?
Ivan’s Performance Products
Thanks for the video I have a vaquero and I’m thinking about putting an exhaust on but I don’t want them to be annoying on long trip keep us updated please if you do long trip
longest trip I’ve done is about 300 miles, and maybe 90 of that was with a full-face helmet before I switched to a half shell. still no complaints!
Your bike sounds great with those pipes. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of windshield do you have?
I love the way it sounds. And I have a Klock Werks 9” Flare
Put on my 2023 voyager.. the way to install is to put back bolt in first. Then get a ratchet strap to put around back of exhaust and put the hooks under the floorboard on the steel . Tighten the strap up snug. Set the bolt in the front hole and slowly pull on the ratchet till bolt falls in and you can tighten up. Repeat other side. I also done the Ivan tune. And for the summer in Texas I remove the lower fairings. Major difference. My temp sits at mark right after half. Upgraded to Polk 652db. 10” slipstream smoked windscreen, k&n airfilter, and grasshopper back rest.
It sounds great. I have the same bike, and have been looking at those mufflers also. Take Care and Ride Safe.
it's money well spent, that's for sure. this footage is actually a little over a year old. I'll be doing a one-year review soon!
Thanks!
I’ll be ordering these soon!!
hope you love 'em as much as I do!
Yeah I agree sometimes the camera mics don’t pick up the good sound, I went the Vance & Hines, new pipes sound better over time
Wow. Sounds great. Video audio never does exhaust justice too so it must be insane in person. Nice!
I love it! I’ll have my first ride video up soon!
Did the fingerprints get wiped off?? Sounds great, btw.
the smudge didn't last long! thanks for watching!
Those are worse than tabs
thanks for watching!
sounds like the stock pipes i have with the baffles taken out , hope you didn't pay to much for them
I paid exactly what I feel like they’re worth.
I drilled out 5 of the 6 baffles on my 2010 Voyager, to get to the third one on the left side you have to cut the pipe to get to it. It sounds ok but I’m thinking about getting a set of true duals for it.
@@moto_989 so you paiid to much lol
@@noahdunaway true duals or slip ons, it’s all personal preference. and I don’t think there’s a wrong choice either way
@@user-xd6tw4lu7v again, I paid exactly what I feel they’re worth
Sounds better then a Harley. And I'm a goldwing man
my brother has a Road King with aftermarket pipes which sound good, but I really love the sound of these mufflers. it’s exactly what I wanted. first-ride video coming soon!
Sound is Awesome
I love these things. First-ride video coming soon!
Sounds great! I also reused my 2 gaskets Ride safe.
Vance and Hines buddy this is not it to poppy like tin
videos just don’t do the sound justice. I love these.
FYI the fender is not bent, the bottom of them are shaped that way for water splash control.
I've been thinking of changing mine out to the Sharkroad pipes. Love the Cobra Tri-Oval that I have on my 2012 Voyager, but been hearing that these sound more like Rhinehart pipes. Deeper tone. Is your bike Ivanized yet? What state are you in?
I can’t say I’ve heard Rhinehart pipes, or Cobras, for that matter. I broke this install/first ride into four installments, so the rest will be coming out soon. I’m not Ivanized just yet, hoping to do that in 2024. I’m in Michigan. You?
SWeet ride, I have 2012 Road King and by far the best bike I ever owned..
Sorry to hear about your injuries man.
Still have Voyager?
absolutely still have the Voyager. I just took the smaller bike for my first ride back from injury.
Thank you! Just to confirm, nomad 2011 1700cc should have the same way to change Oil? I bought mine last week.

Its no issue just tell the owner to go bring the title. To Harley Davidson they will take the vin #s and you he will get a new set of keys . Its that just simple
yeah that’s what we ended up doing.
@Moto 989 Beautiful Bike . Have a blessed and safe riding season, and many more to follow . Peace ✌️
@@brianrahuba6919 same to you. thanks for watching!
No keys? it's a big issue)) any way I want to ride a Harley)
it was able to run without them (as you saw) but the ignition wouldn’t have been able to have been locked. we were able to get some keys from a dealer by matching the VIN.
I took the title down to the local Harley dealer and my license and had new keys in 2 days.
Hell Naw

I’ve owned my Street Triple R LRH for a little over a year, and I still talk about how great a bike it is to anyone who would listen…and to some who don’t!! Hahaha!! The Striple is a great bike to cheat on your cruiser with. 😜
@@moto_989 I hear you! We could all use a little extra play money! Hahahaha! Ride safe, bud. 🏍
No shit that fuel gets dumped into the engine when you crack the throttle. Nice bike. I would've cracked that throttle again as he walked away. I hate "company" demo rides. I rather go solo at the dealership.
that guy just wasn’t happy that day
Nice video. 👍 Is there any change in ground clearance for this Low seat height version ?
not sure, to be honest.
My bike history: Yamaha SR125 - learner cruiser (125cc max under uk law for learners). Decent enough, all 125s perform about the same (excluding 2 stokes) Kawasaki GPX250R - sports tourer (limited to 33bhp for 1st 2 yrs in UK unless you are over 25yrs old). Better than a restricted 600 Bandit or similar of the time, and much cheaper to ensure. Generally a good bike to own Suzuki GSX600F - 2001 model sport tourer. Great bike for general riding and motorway (highway) miles which is what I did a lot of. At the time couldn't stretch to a CBR600F or Thundercat, and the full fairing was more appealing than Hornet/Fazer/Bandit. Rode a ZZR600 loan bike during a service one time, which was generally a better bike; but other than slightly sketchy finish (bolts seize an rust), was a good bike. Harley Fatboy - rode a Heritage Softail and sportster 1200 on a couple of trips to Vegas. Suzuki was in bits in the garage by then, when I moved house I sold it and put the money towards the import HD. In the right moment, the HD is the best bike I've ridden...but I live in the sticks, lots of tight, twisty, gravel strewn, single track roads....I spend as much time fighting the bike as loving it
Where are you gloves?
I just signed a purchase order for a Street RS. Very nice video and very human. Thanks A Lot! - Xoran (Belgium)
enjoy it. I had a blast on this bike. thanks for watching!
The low is the lower ride height correct ?
yes it is!
went in to go buy a street twin and ended up with a street triple lol
