I hit 22 years AGR this past January and I’ll have 27 years overall in the Guard next month…..luckily I was able to stay on as AGR when I switched from enlisted to warrant five years ago - there’s a lot of ups and downs to AGR life, but it’s what you make of it……if you see an opportunity for promotion and progression, go for it - even if means you have to drive a little farther to work each day, the trade off in the end is worth it 💪🏻

Now Im transitioning to The Reserves, and not only conflicted because I have high line scores (all over 103). Great video and congratulations! Out of curiosity, once you become a Warrant Officer 1 at the completion of WOCS, does an new Warrant Officer extend his contract obligation on active duty? Then if the Warrant Officer goes onto the Flight Training as a new Warrant Officer, the new 10 year rule goes into effect upon completion?
