always coming back to this workout!
Still doing this today. Thank you, grasshopper!
I was too busy dancing to listen. What song was playing here. 2:00
Thanks so much for this short and perfect practice. I’ve been practicing yoga for 15 years and this gets to most of the spots an hour long practice would cover. I do it most mornings, it’s a beautiful way to start the day.
Good video thanx
Gracias
This series of mobility stretching is honestly the best I’ve found on CZcams. Thank you and hoping 🙏 you’ll decide to create others like this. You’re the best!🙌
Is this made to lure an opponent in?
Do you do anything for neck mobility? x
The best morning mobility routine! Thank you!
thank you for that sequence I really enjoyed it! the movements develop really natural
Great beginner instructional. Should have a lot more views!
I’ve been loving this mobility routine. Thank you.
Can anyone tell me who is singing in the background?

After 2 years, This is still the best quick, comprehensive morning mobility routine I’ve found.
This was great! Thank you so much! I shared it with my group at work, as we're all working from home right now and I know I certainly needed this movement in my body. You kept it simple, effective and easy to follow along!
That's awesome! So glad you found it helpful!

@@cevanert3 Thank you so much! I watch this video and the Full Mobility Routine #1 almost every morning for months now and it's so satisfying to finally hear that song in it's full glory! ❤️✌️ (Btw do you think those videos are still a good guideline for a daily routine or would you suggest something else?)
this is really good. do you have a somewhat longer, more comprehensive morning mobility routine? that would be super. maybe 20 mins, covers everything to make the day 100% great.
Thanks! I have a few other routines I put together with the explicit purpose of having them be short so people can easily integrate them in their day. I would encourage you to check those out. Here is one that is about 10 minutes long - czcams.com/video/vempOtNJ3Vs/video.html
Hi there! I liked this a lot. It felt awesome. Thank you. I am curious, do you only do this for 6 minutes? Has your length changed much since the video?
It varies greatly from day to day. Sometimes I have lot of extra time in the morning so I do a longer routine and see where my body needs more attention. On other days I might have very little time and just try to do a few things to mobilize my spine when I wake up.
@@cevanert3 Do you do anything to mobilize your neck beyond these exercises? Really love this video - thanks for sharing it.
thänks man
i feel mobilised just from watching it
Hey man, gotta agree with the other two comments- i've been doing this vid, and another of your 'morning' vids, every day for about a week. They're tremendous. Thank you! Wanted to ask: you demonstrate that shoulder stretch here (slightly) different than how i first learned it. Would you happen to know if there's a bonafide 'right' way? When i do it your variation, it definitely pops more stuff in my shoulder. here's that other one: czcams.com/video/fLDHDZcJcVE/video.html
I would say there is very rarely a "right way". I would say that there are often many different ways for many different reasonings. I looked briefly at that the video from the Chek Institute. I like that too. I tried it a bit myself and what I noticed is that I received different movement and stretching on the lateral side of my neck and the way I turned my head would elongate different parts of my scalenes. I created this series thinking in terms of the musculoskeletal system and they appear to be thinking about some other systems as well in the other video. I think both options come from a place of knowledge. Try both! See what you find for yourself, which one helps you and when. Enjoy :-)
Hey, that makes sense; will do. Really appreciate you taking the time to respond (and check out the vid). Cheers man!
Very professional, great morning routines. Subscribed. P.S. also, very nice voice and good music background. All around smooth and GOOD 👍🏻
The whole time I thought it was someone off camera talking.
Really enjoyed these set of videos. Thanks for posting them!
Very nice routine. I started following. What is the song running in the background?
czcams.com/video/7OhJzWynrvQ/video.html 👍🏽
Smooth movements! Thorough, simple to follow and informative. Thank you so much for this!
Been waiting for a good video to show mobility. The combination of your voice the music and the great movements are super helpful! thanks for posting this!
Is this suitable for senior citizens?
Hi Geraldine! These movements are certainly suitable for senior citizens. They are very gentle on the body and can help to improve the way people move and feel throughout the day. If anything is painful in this routine, I encourage you, not to write off the movement, but instead to explore why it is challenging for you and see if there is something you can do about it. I hope this is helpful!
Great video, thank you!

Fantastic video, thanks!
Thank you for these! Do you have a go fund me or something similar? My profession requires a very physical means and these routines have extended my abilities. Really thank you kind sir!
Glad you're enjoying them! I don't have any crowdfunding that I do right now. Perhaps that may change. However, right now my aim is to just put these videos out to help people and refer to others.
Thanks again dude this is awesome, I really appreciate you putting together these exercises!
bro ur gonna mobilize the spine starting with the butterfly stretch. . .???
This is a tactic I've picked up from working with a few yin yoga teachers. The idea is that you pull your spine, especially your cervical and t-spine, into flexion while the muscles are cold. When the muscles are cold and they have less elasticity it puts greater emphasis on mobilizing the connective tissue. I started doing this for a few months and I found it really helped to open up the back of my neck and shoulders. Try it out!
Hello brother It's really nice, simple, easy and effective.
I liked the way you focused on a lot of shoulder/scapula movements. I lack that in a lot of the routines i do currently.
Very nice routine! Easy, yet powerful :) Keep going, you should make more of these videos.
Thx for your morning routine. problems are now better to act.👍I leave a subscription there.
You forgot to tell us to lit and smoke our joints before stretching. Yah man!
lol no

Very nice stuff. Thanks for the vid
Hahaha, to easy for me :) im in brazil on exchange, and i have done it for like 3 months and im ready for tomorrow to get green rope :) LETS GOOO
like in karate it is belts. so as u said green rope . does in capoiera it is rope instead of belts.?
generally it's a "cord system". So capoeira practitioners get a different color cord, referred to a "corda" or a "cordão" (plural - "cordões"), which delineates their level. It's a bit confusing, though, as every capoeira group has a different cord system.
just started my first day today it was fun and a great challenge be 6ft3 285 lbs
really nice
