@@hzd1494 I happen to work at Walmart and I was just putting one of these speakers away and noticed it was on sale for $10 but it's originally priced around $50 so I was like "lemme see what this things about." Because it looks like a good speaker and I couldn't believe it was that cheap. So I looked for a review and you were right, there's not hardly any videos on it except yours and another guy who is speaking I think Portuguese and I speak English sooooo...🤷🏾‍♂️ There's that. You need a RCA to Aux cable and they'll play in Sync. However the encore battery will drain a bit quicker for some strange reason. As the Encore does not have a dedicated Audio Out like the Partybox 100 Series

@@hzd1494 as far as I know there’s only 2 bass boost modes, bass boost 1 which gives deep bass, and bass boost 2 which is the punchy boost. I’ve never heard of a bass boost 3

While you're correct, you're forgetting that the 1st mode counts as well, even if it's not lit up. As the 1st Bass mode is still deep mode, just not overly exaggerated

@@hzd1494 I thought the light off was just more of a balanced sound. And do you actually prefer the punchy bass over the deep bass? I personally think it sounds over exaggerated on punchy, but I guess it does have to do with what type of music you listen to.

This is the Barrel from Walmart back in November, that was on sale for $79 but if you buy one now, it'll come with the Dedicated strap, just keep in mind, it's 2 versions of the Barrel. If you already have one, you can just buy the Skullcandy strap for $20 or $10

Alrighty. As far as upgrading the speaker, I wouldn't suggest it, as it's complicated to assemble back together, & not worth the hassle. When I made the previous video with the grille off, it was hard to assemble again, therefore I had it sent out for a replacement. Just get the Soundcore Flare glow or if you want more bass get the Soundcore motion Boom

@@hzd1494 Yes, the most difficult thing for me is the paper-thin cables connected to the motherboard. It is very difficult to connect and even the cable broke, so I did it later haha

I'm well aware of that. Most small speakers with small drivers don't necessarily benefit from "bass boost" especially knowing you're just going to increase volume, yet still expect the same bass effect as compared to use at "lower volumes" so Genius in fact I am :p

No I'm saying the JBL partybox 300 has a built in Amplifier just like the JBL Bass pro 12 subwoofer, I believe you were getting the 2 mixed up with each other

Keep in mind theirs only one barrel XT, the Walmart version just cheaped out with that strap because of the low price of $79, you can purchase it at regular retail value, or from Skullcandy directly or Amazon, you'll have your strap included

Definitely does & Bass is pretty impressive for the price. The Only con I dislike is the when the speaker is low on battery and the battery is depleted, it turns off without warning

It all depends on the music you're listening to, the SkullCandy does get lower in frequency response, while the Boombox sounds like it has extreme low bass, and lacks mids in indoor mode

But it has the heaviest bass nonetheless Just not above 80% volume

Mine didn't either. if you purchased yours from Walmart, for some reason it doesn't come with a strap. If you purchase one from Amazon or directly through Skullcandy themselves, you'll have the Skullcandy strap that comes with the speaker.

No the grille is held on with screws, in addition to your Flare 2 not charging, your ribbon cable inside is disconnected

The flare 2 has different lighting modes for each person's preference, just click the light icon button on the top control panel, until you get to the last two which are pulse and the other is just a beam that goes in a circle of your preferred color of choice.
