Bottles need to be washed after each use. You should sterilize bottles, nipples, pacifiers, etc. at least once daily. Sanitizing is especially important when your baby is younger than 2 months, was born prematurely, or has a weakened immune system.

Absolutely! Glass bottles are my fave + preferred! Glass all the way - they should not break/crack.

I don’t recall as this was some time ago but I typically use a scent free, baby friendly soap.

Thanks so much for watching and for your patience. This comment got lost - for mine, we don’t get black mold in the hole where the water comes out. However, if I did, I’d likely spray it with some vinegar and wipe it clean.

I have the same problem. The issue is that you can’t reach that bit with your hand or anything. It’s like sealed on the top. What do you do to remove the mold? When I first bought this I didn’t know I was supposed to clean it regularly, so I guess that’s why there’s mold. But nothing helps.

​@rashadal5545 yes weird isnt it. I didnt kmow it had to be cleaned regularly either, to be honest and we used it for ages so its quite shocking to spot that mold. I ended up using one of those really long metal sticks with brush at the end, but i cant see what else is inside 😅😅

That’s a good question. I wonder if the white coat is from hard water deposits? I think that could be a possibility? Vinegar should be able to help with that. Soak bottle in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, and then rinse with cold water, I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

I had this issue once when, using Zephyrhills bottled water, the calcium composite in the water creates a white coat when boiled best you use distilled water when boiling
