MrMuffin'sTrains is an O Gauge Model Train collection and operating layout located in Atlanta, Indiana, in an old grocery building instead of our basement. The Muffins operate the layout and run the trains on Saturdays for our guests, 10am-3pm, or by appointment, and we do a Live Event on Facebook at 2pm. We post videos here at least weekly from our operating sessions, plus the occasional instructional video inspired by some of the questions we receive. To support our public layout, we started selling trains through our retail store and website over five years ago. As model train retailers, we are unique in the hobby in that we are hobbyists first. Our collection is made up of trains from MTH Electric Trains, Lionel LLC, Atlas O, plus a few from other manufacturers.

You have never seen anything like this from us before - pretty terrific. Today during our train running session, we placed a GoPro in a gondola and it toured the third level of our layout. We ran it one direction and then reversed it and ran the other direction. Lots of train were running and lots of people were visiting the layout. I want the #4024 so badly for a display piece.
Up until today, the Lionel layout in1954 at the Macy's toy department in New York City was the largest Lionel layout I had ever seen. It ran all the way from the impressive toy train displays were placed to where Santa was seated. Very very impressive. Congratulations. I'm sure JLC would have been impressed too.
That border takes up a ton of screen space guy

Yes. Completely independent.
I swear it looks like the camera car derailed at the 24:00 minute mark, then rerails itself on a switch. Very fortunate. Excellent video, it really shows the size of your massive layout! Thanks!

Brilliant!! Next trip home to Southern Indiana have to make a pilgrimage to Mr Muffins. The nice thing is now you can see familiar landmarks on your layout from the rails.

I have watched many of your 'Running Trains' videos, and this is my favorite! Lots of non-stop action. Great editing and great filming. I like the close up views of the trains (and backgrounds), and I like to hear the engine sounds as they pass. Again, my favorite by far!! Thanks Mr Muffin, and did Mrs Muffin do some of the filming??😁 I have seen she is good with the remote camera!

Always great to see multiple trains running on the same track using the new releases. Like the Mars lights some of these units have. Partial to the black Soo line RS-3 with yellow end stripes ... how about a Delaware & Hudson version next time.
Why did Lionel paint the smokeboxes on the 2-6-6-2's gray instead of graphite like the previous issues? Just doesn't look right.
Disappointed that Lionel once again screwed up the green on the Pennsylvania engine. I swear they lost QC
