Get the BEST VOCALS in Garageband iOS

What’s good CZcams? Today I showed you guys how to get Clear Vocals in Garageband iOS. This was done by using a preset I made for vocals. This preset in versatile and works in all genres.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: I changed my IG name to @yggrich and no longer go by “garagebandking”.

Yes! So, on the App Store you would download the application. If it doesn’t appear in GarageBand under “Audio Unit Extensions” tab then that means that you probably have the audio unit extensions ability disabled for GarageBand. If that’s the case and you don’t see the “audio unit extensions tab” with any AUv3 plugins that you have downloaded on your phone then you have to go to your iPhone’s settings and enable them. In the settings app type in “GarageBand” in the search bar and the application settings should pop up. Then scroll down and make sure that the “enable Apple-designed audio unit extensions” tab is green. After that reopen GarageBand and any of your downloaded plugins, including zero reverb, should appear in the “audio unit extensions” tab. I know this was lengthy but I hope it helps! :)

@@YGGRICH Thank you. It worked both on my iphone and ipad. But I still don't know how to create the provoc preset; after choosing Fun, and then Clean, I get no track of that name. Do you rename a new track? There is nothing in Garageband help about Provoc preset. Much obliged Sorry to bug you so much by the way, I like your voice; go for it!

You can definitely make GarageBand sound like a professional studio just keep learning and don’t give up! I made one song on my phone on GarageBand my cousin was really shocked it sounded just like the studio and I couldn’t do it again!! I been trying to find an old video that showed me presets but I can’t find it but THIS VIDEO DEFINITELY HELPED ME!! This made my rap vocals sound more bold and pretty good! Thanks again!

If you don’t have any Audio Unit extensions I’d most definitely recommend downloading a few, particularly Zero Reverb as it is my favorite Reverb plugin due to its simple layout. (No Sponsorship). Download a few that seem interesting to you as they honestly make music production more fun for me. Also get a few VSTs (or Virtual Instruments). You can definitely make great things with just the stock plugins, especially now as Apple has upgraded the capabilities of their plugins making them even more transparent and easy to use, but it’s down to personal preference.

Wow those vocals settings work very good. So I do music on another channel. I have a lower voice than u and mines nasal. I found out if i record a second vocal track singing slightly higher and mix the 2 it evens out to a pretty good sound

Hey that was super helpful! Thank you! Also, I’d like to see a video doing the same tutorial for the MacBook version since they have some more tools. Especially since the zero reverb of plug-in doesn’t work when you transfer it over to the desktop version. That would be super helpful too. Thanks for this help.

That’s good preset for using just headphones, I would imagine the quality increases with a condenser mic
