OMG!!! The information you have shared here has given me so much hope!! I actually bought one of your books regarding my dissertation a few years ago when I first started my doctoral program and this video reminded me that I need to re-read it because it didn't make sense to me back then but I am in my second dissertation class where I have to turn in my project plan to get my topic picked up for approval and I felt like I was drowning!! One of my classmates shared this video and it's like all the lights came on inside my brain!! I am going to watch the other ones because this one was so wonderful and straight to the point!! Sir, with due respect, choosing a topic based on what researchers think we need to know is why the world is so screwed up. Do they want to know why Universities are not providing the value? Do they care about the developing world? I am not sure if that CRITERIA for problem selection is such a great idea
