Bus Wires & Power | Movement on The SCRAPYARD On The Modular Railway Ep 16
Welcome back all and today we get track power! Testing a Bachmann Class 20 on the tracks. Next episode we NEED to get the cork and track glued.
Please don’t forget This is all work from a beginner, I’m learning as I go. I value all comments, tips & tricks not just for me but anyone who is wanting to start the journey on model railways. This is a modular build planning to be at least 5 modules. As each module progresses and we move onto the next module we will see improvements regarding skill level.

Slightly different video today as I have got the airbrush back out to weather this class 37 that was given to me by my uncle. Using a chipping effect on the roof to make this look like it has been operating in the scrapyard for many of years. Huge shout out to Bunters Yard for the inspiration m.czcams.com/users/buntersyard

Wayne. That chipping effect turned out fantastic ! Thank you for sharing your technique.
Thank you! It’s still a learning process, I highly recommend Bunters Yard! This is a technique I picked up from many hours watching him :) thanks again.

Came across these vids by accident. In the process of taking up a 24 x 8 layout as shed floor rotted away .then replacing shed ...this is making me want to build a small end to end to keep locos active in the meantime.......love the sound of the twenty .

@@tonyrobinson362 I didn’t find it too bad really but with things like that I tend to set a limit and then put it down and return the following day so it was built over 5-6 days for that reason

Hi Wayne. Many thanks for your shout out. The yard lights are a nice addition to your layout and as for the damaged non working lamp, why not leave it not working.
Looks really good, top work. As for the scissor lift, I agree, I think it looks out of place. It is not obvious as to what structure on the layout it would be used to lift people high up onto.

Nice scenery, you've given me an idea of what to do with cheap trees, which i have some that look rubbish has trees.
@@Kirbybellars yeah it’s as easy way of collecting different shades too. Especially when you can buy bulk cheap trees at shows :)
Love the background noise, just like my house. kids and Grandkids making noise no matter what you are doing. It just makes it more "real" with your own little space, instead of set up as a studio, etc as some do.
That is so cool. I have never built a model railway, but I enjoy watching the scenery coming together. My dream (as I build model aircraft) if I had the space is to build part of a WW2 RAF Bomber airfield and a little distance away, a railway line, with a siding off the mainline for RAF goods (Bombs, etc). I have subbed.
@@markbooth1117 thank you for the sub I appreciate it, I actually started out building model tanks many years ago. My uncle has been building model railways for as long as I can remember as that’s how my interest grew and transitioned over to model railways. Thanks again
