Of course I subscribed to your channel because I like the way you say things and the way you think. Also you remind me of a guy in a video who looks around and says "oh brother! what's that brother?", which my daughter used in one of her videos and we burst out laughing. As for the topic you discuss in this video, CZcams will not be a path to success for everyone. This is the truth. I have a channel where I honestly TRY to create good content, I try to think of new ideas, originals, etc, but unfortunately either I'm not doing it well, or the category (topic, niche , call it what you want) I've chosen is not well received in my country. Despite this, I confess that I don't quit because I like it, I do it without aiming for anything, I do it because I see it, other than that, and as a diary where my children will be able to hear my voice, see how I was thinking and what I did, when I won't be "here" anymore. The truth, of course, is that I have my job, I make "enough" money (by the standards of my country) and it's a hobby for me. I have always liked (since I was a child) to create and to see the reaction of those around me to what I created. CZcams is kind of like that. I get frustrated often, of course. But what's left for me (I'm not going to make money from this, I've realized) is that I'm doing something that activates my imagination.

I have studied digital marketing, I believe you have studied it too, I wanted to make a constructive critic since I feel I can add to your video creations, your videos are very good and have a good introduction, but you should not create this content at first, let me explain, in order to organically grow on this oversaturated with low quality content personal growth market, one has to make viral content and stand out at first, it usually takes 1 video to blow up a channel, not 10 or 100, so don't make similar/informative/good content, it doesn't matter how good your videos are, this video of your in particular it's pretty good, despite that, one thing you have to learn is that people don't care how good your content is if they never see it, also, if they do see it and you aren't unique most will think you are generic, unsuccessful and nobody will want to follow you, on top of that you aren't famous which means you aren't a person worth following in the first place, because if other people don't want to follow you why would they want to in the first place?, therefore they conclude that they shouldn't follow you and watch your content, no matter how good it is. I don't think this way but I'm a weird person, so I don't expect anyone to behave like me, to grow and then explode your channel you need to first use unorthodox clickbaity videos to gain leverage, making your videos more dramatic, extreme that surprises people, using something you can exploid from the monkey brain most people have, like for example on this video title it: "This will ruin your life if you don't change it", and show what will ruin your life in short in the thumbnail and after it stars the video precendent and show it in the first few second that thing that will ruin their lives in a summary before elaborating further, surprise people, imagine me sitting at a table and you want to make a thumbnail to surprise me, do you think your thumbnail would surprise me?, I have seen a ton of dopamine detox videos before, many people too, you have to show them something unique, it has to leave impact on the viewers, show visually the horrors of what happens if you follow dopamine and become a zombie in real life, shock the viewer, show something so absurd that can happen if you don't stop procatrination and been a dopamine drone that the viewer wonders their own existence, and can't help but keep watching all your content, then you can start making your content, the one you are passionate about, in short, you are doing the polar opposite of what you should be doing right now, know how to attract people's attention and make sure people like what you do. Knowing that you can change the course of your channel is a good motivator to start making content again with a different perspective.

Very cool video, be you, this captured me and the sincerity with which you narrated your journey, captures you, keep at it and you will probably reach the top, I am also on this platform from: 440 views 8 Sept. 2014 (a search of the name of my channel on yt and you will see the first one and the others up to this one), several active channels, one with 1.2k subs, and now with this one that finally after so long gains traction, and I come to the conclusion that only your natural way of being, a little playing with trends and topics of interest in which you really have knowledge are the key to some success.

You're so right (or at least 'Alex' is). I've noticed that relatability is something a lot of people are looking for. I do too! But people are also looking for 'authority' or proven success. And hope! It's a really fascinating thing to watch and be part of - this not always smooth and graceful dance of wanting to be told what to do and how to do it and wanting to do 'my thing', 'my way' and looking for people who share that spirit.
