Trans children are now being supported by their parents when they want to switch genders instead of having to hide their feelings. Puberty is really hard on trans children and can lead to Gender Dysmorphia, which can lead to suicide. Puberty can also lead to bullying and a child was recently beaten to death, because they didn’t “pass” as their desired gender. Puberty Blockers should be allowed unconditionally to any trans child, because they are literally a life saving drug for trans kids. If a child is diagnosed with Gender Dysmorphia by a therapist, then the child can ask a doctor, with parental consent, for surgery to help treat their condition. Top surgery, blockers and hormones are the most common treatments. This done at the request of the child and they are not being “mutilated”.
