DIY Camper Van: Installing the Victron Energy EasySolar Electrics Head Unit! ⚡ | EP13
🚐🔌 DIY Camper Van: Installing the Victron Energy EasySolar Electrics Head Unit! 🔌🚐
Welcome to another episode of "I Can't Believe I Didn't Shock Myself," where we tackle the wild world of camper van electrics! Today, I’m diving into the deep end as I install the Victron EasySolar head unit and try not to turn our cozy camper into a mobile disco ball. 🎉
What to Expect:
Step-by-Step Chaos: Watch me juggle wires like a pro (or maybe just an enthusiastic amateur).
Sparks of Genius: Witness those "aha!" moments when things actually work!
Technical Jargon: Marvel at my attempt to sound like I know what I'm doing (thank you, CZcams University).
Finnish Humor: Because what's an installation video without a few laughs and facepalms?
Will my DIY skills be enough to power up our dream camper, or will I end up calling in the pros? Grab some popcorn (and maybe a fire extinguisher), and join me for the ultimate camper van electrics install!
Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell if you enjoy watching the show! 😂🔔

At 15:30 I just tried that on my gz250 and it barely has a gap. So if that's a reliable method my cam chain must be stretched more than I thought. 127.3mm for 21 pins I can move sprocket a tooth with the slack without tensioner. It's a pain to get the clutch pieces off your videos helped me decide to tackle it.
brilliant. no pun intended, great job.
Looks fantastic
@@dukeriluo thanks! 🙏
Very cool. Hope to see that bike in action on part 2! Want to see how the 300cc upgrade is holding up 🔥
Thanks, action incoming! 😎
Con questo lavoro di quanto sono aumentate le prestazioni? E hai messo anche un carburatore più grande o hai lasciato quello originale?
I did not ride this motorcycle before the conversion, so I cannot really tell the difference. The carburetor has a larger main jet, but is otherwise standard.
Link for buy 300cc kit??
It seems to be unavailable at this moment, but it was from aliexpresss 🤷🏼♂️
Looks awesome, great job men. I'm from Kenya and i'm thinking of modifying my haojin hj150,so i was wondering which colour did you use on the engine and frames? It looks awesome
Thanks Cris! 🙏 For the frame I used ”VHT Roll bar & chassis” spray paint. For the engine I used ”Rustoleum Hard Hat” heat resistant spray paint. See: Suzuki GN250 EP20 - Painting the engine czcams.com/video/2eYWASPH6eU/video.html And czcams.com/video/7gjUTB8L9cU/video.htmlsi=RTvcIrMthuYtcYM-

What that metal band at 14:30? My guess black metal band like emperor or mayhem I'm from USA and I listen to some bands from finnland like Nightwish, Korpiklaani and Finntroll. Swedish Opeth, Candelmass Then there's various death, black metal, thrash, symphonic, folk , power metal I listen to.

Hay, can you please can you show me GN125 Suzuki تركيب الكرنك والتروس
Sorry, but I don't have any material about those parts of the engine since the gearbox was just fine and didn't need to be opened.
ai että mitkä muistot herää, tulihan sitä penikkana raikulilla pärryyteltyä jokunen kilometri
Nice light setup, man. Looks really cool.
Thanks Brad! We are pretty happy with the result. Also the amount of light seems to be good 👍
Looking very good, are you sure that the swingarm bushes will handle all the force? I hope that they do so as it was a brilliant job making them. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Aspen! That is good question, I think I will go with them and monitor the wear on them.
Tenho uma GN 250/1997
Legal! Divirta-se com isso, mas dirija com cuidado!
Thanks for the series Kepperi. Working on some GZ250's. They have the same engine, your videos are very useful.
keep it going 🤩
Nice, good to see you working in the scooter, would you recommend that paint system?
Hi Tulio! Yeah its been super fun after long time to work on the scooter 🚲! If you mean the powder coating paint system, yeah! I would recommend that since its super easy to use and it creates nice and sturdy surfaces!
Ingenious.👌
Very well done! cheers
Excellent work Kepperi, I don't know where you leaned your english, but those one liners and compulsory beer, makes you an honorary Australian
I’ve watched my crocodile dundee movies when growing up 🐊🇦🇺🦘😀
Hi, I also have a Suzuki GN250 project, and find your video's very inspirational, keep up the great work
Thanks Brett, its nice to hear! I hope you enjoy your GN250 project 💪🔧

Great to have you Brett! 💪🔥
Happy New Year .... Question on the Suzuki GN250. Regarding the air screw how var is it turned in... Can you check and give me the mm
Bro, I learned so much from you thank you
Hello! Im glad if the videos are helpful! I think that the adjustment cannot be copied becouse I have larger jet and different air cleaner. Or do you have the same?
@@KepperisGarage hi I copied you
@@heinliongold8857 Okays, I will check the revolutions for the air screw. Just to make sure; do you mean the top screw (near intake)?
Great video, hope you enjoyed your ham, Happy New Year.
Thanks Aspen, ham was great :D Happy New Year!
Now you can see backwards. Excellent audio. 👌
Coming along nicely, you deserve a medal for figuring out the best way to fit the window, we have a saying, "Necessity is the Mother of invention". Good all round job. Oh by the way, can you sort out the background music volume please. 🔊🔉🔈
Thanks for the feedback @aspenyellow2963 🙏 is the music too loud or does it have something else to tweak? Im happy to fix it for the future episodes 🫡
When you are talking lets say that the TV volume is 20, as soon as you stop talking and the music comes on the volume has to go down to 5@@KepperisGarage

What are the dimensions of the boards?
Hey! Sorry about long wait. I think I’ve already broke the mount becouse it was specially made for the purpose 😢 Maybe there is some measures mentioned on the video 🤔
gn250 comes in 2 power variants, one was 17HP and second one over 20. Do you know where is difference? Is there any way to unlock this 17hp version?
Hello! Sorry, I heard about this first time now, interesting tho!
I have a 1994 model gn250, I want to upgrade it to 18 pin 300cc, can you help me and I want to install an ax crank?
Sorry, I have no experience on those later models 🙁

Can we put gn 250 engine block head on gn 125 engine body?
Hello! I don't know about the 125 engine, sorry!
Hey :) At this moment I am having the same Moped with the same engine before me and I am searching CZcams for Restauration videos and I am stumbling over your series. How great that you already have that many videos online about this engine.
Thats great MML! I hope my videos might help you! 👌
@@KepperisGarage I am atm at the point where you kompressed the clutch with the c-clamp. Hilarious. Why do I get strong Slavic vibes from you? :D

That was fun to watch .😊 Don't know why but I had a bit of suspense
Thanks @MrParkdrive
Thanks so much for this series Kepperi I learned a lot watching you and fixed my own gn250 along with you 🎉🎉
you're a house favourite here, man! keep up the good work!
Heheh thanks 🙏 Im glad you enjoy the videos!
Hey this is awesome hope you are still doing well
Thanks @shannonnichols4721! 🙏
it took me a few minutes to figure out that chain tensioner. it only goes one way, so you have to wind it back and then install it, like you did in the video. I am going to try an aftermarket manual chain tensioner that is just a bolt with a locking nut and see how that works.
Bought also one for myself but i didn’t install it because i got my bike working by changing the chain. Hope you get yours working too 💪
@@KepperisGarage I got the upgrade finished, including the new timing chain, but the ticking is still there. I am going to switch to the manual chain tensioner and see if that fixes it.
this is exactly the video I needed to see! I stalled my GZ250 and broke one of the ears off the cam, so I decided to go ahead and do the big bore upgrade while i had it all torn apart. I was wondering how to get the timing correct, and now that I have seen how you did your I will order a new timing chain just to be sure it is within tolerance. Thanks for the help!
Great! Have fun with the project, im sure you’ll get it running! 💪
@@KepperisGarage I hope so! It is a good little bike, and I am really enjoying changing and upgrading it while I am repairing it!
great to see you back doing what you do, only this time you have a manager to keep you on the right track, so things should go a lot smoother.
Thanks Aspen! hahah you're right :D
Happy to see you again with this new projet
