Let me be honest to you guys. Parents feel like they want to kill us. How disrespectful were we? And if you were disrespectful To your parent.. when you grow up get married and become a parent.. Your kids will do the same thing just like how you did to your parents.. There will *always* be karma in the future. If you are going to act rude to your parents then your kids will do the same because they learned it from *YOU* in the past.

You are half right and half wrong. About the thing that parents gave up there whatever because of us (their kids). It's not our fault that we born in this world. I respect my parents bit sometimes I crossed the line and I know that is not good. We owe nothing to pir parents. We didn't choose to be born in this world. If they abandoned their dreams just for us, that's their decision. We didn't choose to be in here. But if we love our parents, it is very good to treat them the things they deserve. Love your parents with all of your heart.

My adult Children have been so disrespectful to me as their Mother as well as their Grandmother. The sacrifices I gave up for my children and the financial support from my Mother (their Grandmother) is so painful. FORGIVENESS is hard for me. No Parent(s) are perfect not one. But my adult children hurt me as a parent terribly disrespectful. In my culture -- my children have dishonored their parent and that in itself is a disgrace and shameful. Even the bible acknowledges: HONOR THY MOTHER AND THY FATHER SO THAT THY DAYS ON THE EARTH MAY BE LONG.

I cried because it is never enough to be good to your parents. Feel blessed to have people that love you and would care for you when you are sick or lazy.

I feel super bad for treating my mom like this...(note that I don't have any connections to my dad) The respect for elders overall is not really a thing in my culture and that's bad. I've never really learned to respect my parents or other elders as I should, since I don't see it here and we're not really taught to respect in that matter. We only get the speech "You can't talk to me like that" or "You have to respect people" But how can we know how to respect if we're never taught that? I want to learn and be a better person, but it really takes time 'cause I have to learn it by myself

Im 40 this year, will show this vidseo to my kids. I used to be a teenager and used to be scolded the old school way. When my kids do bad things i will try my best no to scold badly. Instead i use psychology way and still practicing it. Thanks for the video and i will show it to my kids and educate them from time to time.

I call BS on this video. Parents are not all good. Some are extremely toxic and emotionally, mentally, and physically abusive. Children deserve respect as much as their parents. When you are being gaslighted, treated like a scapegoat, told you are stupid, told that your mother wishes she had aborted you several times, your mother puts a wedge between you and your only sibling, your father sits idol allowing these bad behaviors to continue throughout your entire life and enables them. NO! I owe my parents zero respect. And I have zero respect for them. Not everyone grew up having loving, nurturing, caring parents. NO one gets to pick their birth parents. Had I that choice, My parents would have been two entirely different people.

Well my dad ran also he is a manipulative ,narcissistic megalomaniac. Who has no understanding of boundaries. That being said thanks for this because I want to slap him these days and, this helped.
