Easy DIY homemade stovetop camping oven similar to Omnia
Very simple homemade camp oven like Omnia’s made from components for a lot less money. All you have to do is drill a few holes
Components were bought from Amazon and were chosen because they fit well together. I bought other similar items but they didn't work as well together so I returned them. You might be able to find similar items at a thrift or charity store for even less!

Where do you find recipes to work in it? I am trying to find a cook book for this type of cooking.
In India, it is called handwa maker. Compared to the price of the omnia, it’s for a fraction of the price. Works just as well.
I also have a DIY version, made some years ago, but without the silicone insert nor the wire tray. Maybe that's why I had a hard time using it [Poor cooking skills didn't help, either]. The Omnia oven is just a modernized version of the Israeli "Wonder Pot". It was (and still is) popular among the very religious people to satisfy religious dietary laws.
Nice job! I couldn't believe how much they jumped up in price lately... this may be the much more cost effective option. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
