No punk=no black metal, as simple as that. Or as Paul from Profanatica eloquently put it: "The early Black/Death Metal was rooted in Punk. And the Punk was already built into it, you can't take it out".
At first I thought this was not my cup of tea, very DSBM, but I quickly realized just how good this is.

Musik wie diese hält mich zusammen, wenn ich drohe zu zerspringen....
Das ist auch eine der ganz speziellen Platten, an denen ich mich nie satt hören kann. Es ist immer wieder ein Genuss, die ganzen geilen Momente zu genießen, die dieses Album bereit hält. Wie oft mir die Worte "Oh man, wie unfassbar geil ist das denn?!" beim durchhören durch den Kopf gegangen sind, kann ich gar nicht zählen. Und dann diese Vocals....die klatschen mich einfach immer wieder komplett um 🥲🥰🫠 Dieses Album ist ein umwerfendes Meisterwerk.

Does anyone know if there’s any more music from this artist (not the band but the artist himself)? I couldn’t really find any information on this band nor the people that played in it
Unfortunately the man who released this has passed away, early 2010's I believe. He had another project called Delichon Urbica worth checking out though. Sad that that's all he wrote though, he was definitely unique.
That sucks, I just listened to the 2009 Demo from Delichon Urbica. The music is really deep for both of the bands he created. It really gets to you when you’re down yourself. I listened to the song Lost Life from a dsbm compilation on CZcams 3 years ago when I was first getting into black metal which linked me to his album. It was really popular during the time for a depressive black metal album. Though I couldn’t find anything on metallum, the only thing I could find was this album on discogs. It didn’t give me any information about the band members or anything that could link me to more music. I really appreciate that though 🖤. R.I.P to the artist, his music is honestly amazing!
