About 185kw, i needed camshafts ontop of those mods to hit 200kw, then added the charger and hit 300kw 😂

@@Phatv6 ah yep so with the mods before you put the cam in did you need to tune it to get rid of the engine light for the o2s was there any difference before you get it tuned with just pacemakers ect to when you got it tuned at 185kw? Seeing if it's worth going to get mine retuned or tuned as the previous owner said it is and I run it on 98 but he had no proof of a tune being done or dyno ect so wondering if you could still drive around ect if it hasn't been tuned as mine has 2 o2 sensors in the pacemakers then 2 the cats

Cause these are good engines, and these sound better than eco and LS is too commonly done

@@Phatv6 fair enough I prefer the eco sound with a turbo but each to there own and yeah ls is done a bit but I guess for good reason since they're over 1k HP with a decent build What numbers are you expecting from your alloy once fully built? Once again respect for the build just curious

300 thousand but not all original parts, half of the motor has only done 50k

Tuner put a 5k limiter there because redlining it with 10psi isn’t exactly the best for my stock rods

@@atticseeder9189 those engines blow up being n/a, holden v6 are much stronger bottom end, forged crank and sinter forged rods, id take my chances with that over any other v6

@@Phatv6 vr6, tdi and most 1.8ts cranks are forged, some of those engines come with forged pistons stock too... you can put 30 psi of boost in a stock block without breaking a sweat in VRs and 1.8ts will handle up to 600ish hp on a stock bottom end but ey im not the kind of guy that shys away from adding uncessary boost

Aren’t alloytec bottom ends stronger than ecotec? I haven’t really heard of any bottom end issues on alloytec

Boost guage you’ll need to hook up from the guage to the manifold and then to the BOV, but i didnt install it so idk
