    While it wasn’t this arrangement, when I got married, our organist used this hymn for the recessional. As a musician myself, I allowed the organist free reign. No Pachelbel, etc. for me.

      I briefly read your comments on Silent Night, but now I don't see them to reply to them. I'd be interested in knowing about your musical studies in Austria. The composer arranged about five or six, I don't remember, versions of Silent Night, some orchestrated, which demonstrate the Laendler feel. My choir and instrumentalists performed one of those versions for Lessons and Carols one year. It may not be the ethos most Americans expect, but once you hear it that way there is no going back!

    I enjoy watching your technique. It brings me back many decades to when I was practicing on a direct tracker organ in Salzburg, Austria. While clearly the touch is different on this electro-pneumatic instrument, I really liked watching how you managed the split between the manuals and pedals.

      Thanks! My home organ is a Rodgers 205 hybrid. It has two ranks of pipes, unified throughout the specification, and then supplementary electronics. These were made primarily in the 1980s I believe, and I understand that perhaps fewer than 20 were made or at least now exist. It has been a great practice instrument and isn't bad to record, either, which is something I never would have tried had the year 2020 not reared its ugly head.
