Johnny is doing a great job. Ronnie would be proud is proud. Keep it up. I love hearing you guys sing, especially this song from my only son who got killed and today’s Mother’s Day and this song means so much to me and fact the whole album does keep your great great, bless all of you from an old woman 74 years young
Of course she’s not, but he is just almost as good that was cruel and you’re not him so be kind. That’s the only way you gonna make it in this world he sings beautifully. We love him. we love Lynyrd Skynyrd. They’re great ever. Tell someone they are not somebody else you wouldn’t want it done to you be kind spread peace and love and think about what you say before you say it because that was very cruel and I did make an error in the first sentence I said she, my finger hit the wrong key. I apologize you have a blessed day. Don’t be mean don’t be a bully and you’re not Ronnie either so be it.
I met Billy in 1985 in Texas, he told me a story how he was in Jail for 30 days . All that was in the cell was a Gideons bible. After he got out God lead him to a church, there he met band members of the church. They formed a Group called Vision. They started to tour in faith with what little money They had. He gave his heart to Jesus and except him as his savior. I know he rejoined with skynard later. I hope he held on to his faith. I pray he did... we have only one way to heaven and that's thru the blood of Jesus. GOD bless him.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the best bands of all time!!! Gotta Love the Simple Man, don’t get no matter than this!! RIP to all the original band members, their music will always live on and Love that Johnny Van Zant keeps the band going with Rickey Medlocke and the rest of the band…Keep rockin’!!! 🎶 🎸💙
Man, this song has such sentimental value to me as my mom in 1979 gave me this song as a gift on the day i left for college as she was a fan of lynard skynard like big time fan! Moms gone now and im in my late 60s but i did what she asked and today im 4th generation on this farm thsts been in my family 97 years😊👍. My son's are about to take the reins and i will surely make sure they do what their grandma once asked me🙏. Great way to start my morning but i have a farm to run lol God bless this iconic band past and present🙏
Thank you Dannyvann 🙏. I love this farm as it's kinda in my blood and it will live on with my boys running it as they were raised to keep our legacy alive. Next year will be my last but I'm not going anywhere as I plan on living out my days right here on our property spending my days listening to real music😊👍 God Bless you my friend🙏
I used to sing this to my son from when he was tiny to older. It was our Mom and Son dance at his wedding. His first words to me on the dance floor, was Mom I am happy. I couldn't ask for more. 🩷
Some of the best and loving advise any parent can give a son or daughter to this day. ( saw them in San Bernardino in the mid seventies pre-tragedy). This song has given mea lot of guidance in my time. ✨
What a great song and an even Greater Band America in the 1960s and 1970s was a far greater place to live in, with no shootings or robberies' (or occasionally) no BLM, LGBT, Woke just a pure Christian Country greetings from your old pal across the pond United Kingdom!!!
I can’t even explain what this song means to me.
