This is the exact car I bought used in '82! Same color scheme, same interior, all of it! I have been looking for photos or videos of it for years and years so I could show my sons what a cool car their cool mom used to drive back then when I was in my 20s, but never found my car 'til now. I put many a mile traveling back and forth from Norfolk, Baltimore, and to my home in NH while on liberty or leave. Def Leppard, REO, Journey, The Police, ZZ Top were always in the tape player. What a beauty this one is! Thank you thank you thank you for reviving so many memories.

not much of an explanation is it? i've yet to see anything which properly explains the operation of this KDSS or its other variants
All it does is loosen the sway bar to flex more, essentially by mounting to a shock absorber(s) with hydraulic balancing front-rear, for going off-road where one of the wheels drops low. They're trying to suggest it reduces body roll when it doesn't, a stiff swaybar alone will do that, but a stiff swaybar alone won't let either of the wheels drop for full traction in off-roading on very uneven surfaces. Some people going off-roading may opt to just disconnect the swaybar for such events.
