This was the last week of teaching at Jersey Strong, where I have been an instructor for 11 years. I am going to miss my students so much! I am excited about the next chapter of my life, but it is bittersweet because I have to leave them behind. Until we dance again...

Hi Joelle. I respectfully disagree. The artist is from Grenada. The moves in their original video are dancehall moves. Soca has a different beat. Other Zumba instructors that have done choreography for this song also list it as Dancehall. I totally can understand not being 100% sure. Soca and Dancehall have many similarities. Thanks again for watching and for your input.
@@funsizedfitnesswithmichelle I am Jamaican and I know Dancehall vs Soca. Dancehall is REGGAE music. The original video for this song states :" The song combines traditional SOCA elements with the more globalized pulse of Dancehall" The primary beat is Soca. Zumba has been getting music genres wrong for decades. LOL Fun facts- that national music of GRENADA is SOCA. One Love.

The music of Grenada, Trinidad , Guyana , Bahamas is primarily SOCA and dancehall is primarily Jamaican . Go listen to dancehall in this link. OIL IT Is not dancehall.
