Hey there!
Lately we have noticed this technique circling the internet, so we gave it a try and we LOVE it!
We are all about taking something old and making it new. We grabbed some old vases out of the garage, baking powder out of the pantry, and paint from the craft drawer and got going making these old vases into something beautiful.
We hope you love this technique as much as us! Let us know if you have any questions. Give us a thumbs up and subscribe if you want more content like this!

Why the bottom.first?
I loved watching you do it
I hope you cleaned up the grout off the floor and black cover.
Looks like gentle waves on a lake.
That looks so cool. I’m going to try this on my bedroom walls.
Very well explained and executed. Lovely work
U did excellent omber wall keep it up Im still learning from your videos
nice work but alot of talking vi forgot why I m watching many times . but thanks
Its much better to spray your brush to keep your paint wet rather than to spray the wall. You might cause drips or lighten up any under coat by spraying the wall.
Too much talking
What brand of wax did you use?
Hola genial, Que le aplicaste después de lijar? Saludos
Thank you 😊
It's nice technic but too much talking made video very long
The paint gets stuck in the paint brush and leaves nothing in the bowel, how do I prevent that?
May I use plastic bottle?🙏
Why use a brush when you can use a sponge? Not the best Ombre I've seen! 😕
I am attempting this after considering different faux techniques to try thou decided to do all the walls in the room fingers crossed
Can you lighten the bottom colour with white to get that middle shade? Then add more white to get next shade up? Etc ?
Awesome!
That looks like garbage
It WAS a nice fireplace.
Hi, can you please tell me what colors have you used for your wall.
Maybe whitewash painting for me... I think I could control finish better.
Really enjoy it. Let's check woodprix plans also.
Thank you for posting. I absolutely Love your technique, and the you keep it simple. Yours is the best ombre wall so far and I'm excited to start my own daughters ombre wall.
Thank you this is the first video that I have come across showing the whole process.
The blending here looks so much smoother than any other ombre wall tutorial out there. And your technique is so simple too, just keep adding some of one color and some of the other until you get a nice smooth blend, and use water to help the transitions. I will be trying this.
Thank you!!
I too think this is the best ombre technique. Thank you for the video. Your wall looks fantastic.
Please shut up and get to it!! Blah blah blah blah blah
"I'm going to show you how to do a German Shmear on a fireplace .... This is my first time" ...... lol , I don't know if she quite sees the irony of that or not .....
I'm still trying to figure out how women keep a phone in their tight pants back pocket without breaking it , this chick is even sitting on brick with that phone in her back pocket !!!!! Someone needs to do a "how to" on that !!!!
I’m guessing it didn’t turn out well because she didn’t really show the final result 🤣
Very helpful!
It seems like a lot of waste with covering all of the bricks vs just putting the cement between the bricks and smearing with a wide putty knife which gives a more natural effect. Also, i wish you had shown the end result.
tip - start at the top so any mortar that falls is on "not mortared brick yet" , wipe with a large tile sponge , not a rag ..... sponge has flat surface , better for wiping brick , tile , grout joints , etc
I crack up when youtubers spend so much time talking about things like "This is a fireplace behind me" ..... stuff like that .... lol .... Ya , we know it's a fireplace ..... no offense lady , just an observation of many youtube "how to videos" ...... "How to build a doghouse , but first let me tell you what I had for lunch and why I got a speeding ticket 7 years ago" ......
Tabitha, is this table you just painted a few months ago for your meeting room?
Yes Pat! Thanks so much for watching! We sped up the process in this video because it was a 3 day project.
I dont like the entire thing covered. Could a just painted it white.
Should start at top and come down
Very Helpful! Thanks..... (and if you dont mind me saying... you are gorgeous). 🙂
