Honestly, my favorite work of art ever made. The crazy pianist who brought us Dark Beast Ganon, Manaka Kataoka, has come back for round 2! This fight isn’t JUST about The Wild anymore though, it’s about The Sky, and your monumental battle within it. So while the piano is sparse at times, it’s playing at about the same speed at certain portions. But the main focus on the track this time is beauty. Who could have ever thought that a trio of Sax, Erhu, and Piano could make such an… intimate listening experience? And after that, we get such a crazy key change, that’s it’s had people clambering since the game released. Everything has brought you to this point, as you dive from Zelda to finish off the Demon Dragon. And as you close in for the final attack, it slows down to a single piano figure, as it slowly builds for more suspense. I love this song to bits and pieces.

In the theater we ALL cheered when the music started!! And my gosh what a great time that was!! BEST ANIMATED MOVIE EVER!!

I don't know if this was obvious or not, but I'd like to point out that there's the dragon theme motif in the beginning of the music until about 0:28. Not the regular dragon theme, though, but the theme that plays when both Zelda and Ganon turn into dragons. Again, maybe this was already known and I'm late to the party or I've misunderstood, but it's just something I noticed on my own while listening :)

At the moment where both the Mario Bros, Mario and Luigi were about to be toast by Bowser’s Fire Breath, they both grabbed the star. Bowser thought he had won. Princess Peach thought she lost all hope. Well she didn’t. She was relieved that both the Mario Bros grabbed the star just in time and began to kick Bowser’s but really hard with a series of punishing blows, paying that fire-breathing bastard back for hitting Mario with that unfair advantage and attempting to murder Luigi while trying to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom.

Everyone talks about the saxophone but those two triplets right before it are just as cool
