Boggs tool in california can sharpen your dull files. I use savedge laminate files and Boggs makes them cut as good or better than new for a very reasonable price. Ive used savedge files for 27 years. GREAT to see you up and at'um! God bless!

Take it easy, I got a new knee in April and I have had to take it easy. The recovery is taking longer than I thought it would. The meat takes a long time to get right. After a year you will be much stronger.

All you can do is just take one day at a time just don't push it you'll get back to yourself is it might take a little longer but just don't push yourself glad to see you're doing stuff again

HI PETE 😊😊 IVE heard the same thing about the light chainsaw bars they dont last 😮😮 and they ware out fast all chainsaw bars build up sawdust most people use a old thin screwdriver 2 clean them out and U have 2 make sure theres no burr on the bar on both sides 😮😮 that 2 wont let it cut eithet because the chain wont go through the wood U have 2 use a flat file and file the bar both sides 😊😊 OMG 7 22 2O24

If you try a sumara bar again get the regular light weight I have ran them when I can find them and I really like them logging oak. I never ran a premium light bar. Glad to see you pushing on.

I love the c83 xcut. I've had nothing but issues with the exl. I've gotten 5 bad batches of it with a bunch of cutters that a brand new file won't even scratch. The c83 xcut is the sharpest chain I've ever seen out of the box. It actually reminds me of the lgx you love so much.

I’m really glad you are feeling like making some videos again. Your early instructional videos really have helped me a lot. I know how it is trying to come back from a severe accident. I was 16 when I had an auto accident that broke both of my femurs,an ankle,shoulder and had severe facial injuries and a severe concussion. I have been recovering from it my whole life basically because it really effected everything from that day forward but now I’m almost 64 and I am doing land clearing and logging and I have never let it keep me from doing anything. I know you will be the same way!

You have cut with the Sugi bars way to long. Anything else is going to feel odd or just not right. Hard to fix what isn't broken! Having the extra hardware in your back now. The muscles are compensating and also pulling from a different angle now since things don't bend like they use to. They will stretch out as your core strength is rebuilt again. I am concerned with the firewood shed not being at capacity with winter fastly approaching!🤠

Keep up the hard work Pete. Muscles will be sore from not using them.

The xtough bars are a lot better quality than Oregon, I've been running them for two years, the rails stay nice and don't mushroom out like the before mentioned.

Thanks for the video Pete! I'm always interested in the professionals opinion and experience with products I use or may use. Right up my alley! I like the Pferd files but recently if been digging the Vallorbe files. Not to expensive and cut well. They have an aggressive but smooth feel to them.

Wonderful to see you and I appreciate the tips on the "lightweight" bars. I got a pretty good deal on some LGX 3/8 0.50 chain loops but they are all 20". Have you had any luck taking a few loops and splicing them into the length you need?

Pete you and your health come first not CZcams just remember that. I've had one hip done back in March now on the waiting list again for the other one, due they say in October then I maybe able to say I'm whole again and pain free. Great seeing you getting around.
