Overall the speech bombed. The serious remarks weren’t all that insightful and most of the jokes fell flat. Jerry seemed totally out of his element.

"Yeah you can do that and if you dont, you can work for me" And that is EXACTLY how most of these idiots "make it" in hollywood. They have no fear. Their lives are set. It does not matter if they fail because they have a safety net called "daddy's money" Those without that privilege have a much tougher time choosing to do something they love because they know if they fail their lives might be over.

That's the whole thing. The problem is ourselves. We let our children run wild because the government says we'll get in trouble with this bank. Account, you know what I was spanked. I still got in trouble but it showed me the right direction. And eventually I did straight now. And the government doesn't want your kids to straighten out. They are trying to destroy the family. The soul of these children. That's what I found out the government is our own worst enemy. The government was supposed to work for us.But after world war two we all found out how the government works for themselves

His father and his father’s father all being locked up is a consequence OF the system. Rooting back to the introduction of anti-loitering laws in the South after the Civil War. It’s also important to note that in the US we have for-profit prisons. Convicts are the only people who are legally allowed to do slave labor in the US. Companies will use them as cheap labor to increase profits and that is a direct conflict of interest. Their goal is to make as much money as possible, by rehabilitating prisoners, disproportionately black men, and getting them back into society, then they are working directly against their best interest. All of it is a consequence of a racist and brutal system that targets black people and keeps setting them back further and further. I’d suggest looking into redlining, average wealth of the black family, quality of education and access to healthcare to see all sorts of systemic discrimination towards african americans.

It's a cultural problem. When 7% of the population commits over 50% of thr murders is a problem. It's not the system, it's the culture.

  • @philliprobinson4973

That's only HALF of it! It IS the parent's job to raise their children right. That's where you're supposed to learn how to be a decent human being and a productive member of society. The subject at hand though, is the fact that when a crime or infraction is committed, an African American is 10x more likely to receive 10x the punishment (maximum sentence) for the same, exact crime than a white person who all too often can walk away with a slap on the wrist. There are an estimated 342 million people in the US with almost 200 million being white and about 40 million are African American. Even if only 20% of every race committed a crime, who would have more criminals? 40 million vs. 8 million. There would be the same amount of white CRIMINALS as the TOTAL African American population in the US! On the FBI website, white people have been arrested 2-3x as much as African Americans for EVERY crime aside from murder and robbery, in which African Americans have a slightly higher percentage of arrests. African Americans make up 12% of the US population but more than 38% of the prison population. And although white inmates make up 57% of the population, if they are getting arrested 2-3x more that should reflect in the inmates population. Not saying that there should be MORE white people incarcerated, but that there should be LESS African Americans based on the severe difference in population.
